John Opplinger was asked about this but I don't know how in god's name to search through that website. Basically by adding animal characteristics you're invoking behavioral patterns for that animal into your girl. Cats being the prime example are sexual independent beings, much like bunnygirls for playboy you see a girl with cat ears and a tail and you instantly recognize them as sexualized creatures.
