Am I the only one who would actually want to raise Yukkuris as pets?

Seems kinda neat, even if they requires lots of dedication.

Although I could say the same of a dog or a cat.

>> No.1984522

I don't like this concept at all. ughh.... I don't, maybe its because it has some favorite characters faces attached to them, but reading over all of these, something made my tummy turn. :(

>> No.1984530

It's the cruelty. A yukkuri suffers much, sometimes. It's like having some woman who looks like your mother be raped in front of you in a gruesome manner.

Assuming you are at least something near of a decent human being.

>> No.1984532

I love Yukkuris and would love to raise one.

Is there any way to get it fixed? Seems like it would be quite a bother if there's no way to prevent it from having babies.

>> No.1984541

They get babies if they "refresh" with other yukkuris. So a lone Yukkuri will not give birth, I suppose.

Not sure how accurate this is, but I've heard that removing the bean paste in their cheek regions will effectively neuter them.

Yeah I guess so. Seeing Reimu/Marisa/etc as simply a species of pets seems wrong. I mean I'd feel the same way if it was pictures of kittens and reading the advice saying "don't pick the worn down looking ones". :( The cruelty stuff is just the worst though.

I'd love to... wait, what exactly do you mean by "pets"?
Because I'd love to keep a moderate amount of them, in good conditions, and every now and then remove some and eat them, or kill them in interesting way, or "play" with them, with death being the most likely result of the "play"...
