What are some of Reimu's taglines.
I was trying to remember some taglines or catchphrases that Reimu has.
Kind of like Marisa's "danmaku is power"
or Youmuj's "The things that cannot be cut by my Roukanken are close to none!"
Only ones I can recall are "Youkai extermination" and "It's an incident" and those aren't very centric to her.

I really like Marisa's whole personality. Ordinary human who worked herself up from nothing to become an ordinary magician. Obsession with power. Resentment or embarrassment towards people who didn't do anything for their natural abilities. ZUN's hints of her about to abandon her humanity. The whole "spell-thief" gimmick. And that tagline you mentioned. I just can't describe it coherently, but the picture of her in my head is someone to admire and be interested in how she turns out.

I agree with most of what you said, though like >>19802378 mentioned its highly unlikely that anything will ever come of "Marisa abandoning her humanity". In fact, that not even really the case, since her interest has never been abandoning her humanity but rather becoming immortal. Its only natural that becoming a youkai could be seen as a means too an end in that regard, but she has also explored other possibilities like becoming a hermit and making her own elixir of immorality (which she accomplished according too her PCB profile though she discarded it). But either way, the whole situation is an interesting one and adds more nuance too her character. Its doubtful ZUN will ever do anything with it though since its pretty clear he has set it up as more of something for the people too explore in fanworks. Overall Marisa is just the best, no doubt.

Marisa strikes me as someone who is proud of her humanity, if that makes sense. She takes pride in what she's achieved as a human, and it will take a lot for her to abandon that.
Doesn't mean it's impossible for her to become a youkai, although the only thing that makes that impossible is ZUN's refusal to give his plot devices some big character development.

Like I said its more of something for fanworks too explore which is why he will never do anything with it.
Also in the context of the picture you posted I dont personally believe the fighting game win quotes are good sources of info too support arguments/ideas. They are win quotes after all (pretty much just banter) and we dont know how much ZUN actually cared too look over them (since they aren't as important as the story script and he doesn't write them). Plus, its weird too think of them as absolute canon because it implies that every single matchup possible happens so that these quotes can actually be given. Also what Doremy and Yukari say dont add much more in support of the idea because its already stuff that has been effectively said way in the past (since the whole thing goes back as far as IN and PMiSS). Also in context that section of FS is clearly referring too Kosuzu. Just that one snippet gives an entirely different impression than what was pretty clearly intended in the manga.
Excuse all of the autism, I just want too make sure my thoughts are fairly clear.
