Matarajin is a deity of many things and many shrines. His most famous ritual worship event is the ushimatsuri at Koryuji Temple, so perhaps you should participate in it if you ever find yourself near that shrine at about 12:00 AM in January 20th. Matarajin is also worshipped year round at Motsu-ji Temple, particularly in Jogyodo Hall's ushirodo (backdoor), where he is considered the protector of the Amida Buddha's sutra (and also as an aspect of Amida himself). Taking part in the art of noh, sarugaku, or ennen no mai is can also be considered a form of worship since Matarajin is also a god of these performing arts.
