Do people in Japan know who this guy is?
Are there psychologists in Japan?
Why is it so hard to see dreams in Animes?

I had a dream about Akiha last night. She was using my toilet as a desk while doing her homework. I wonder what it means.

yes of course they do. Lots of counselors in japan, depression is big over there. there are several animu with dream sequences.

If you're thinking about that hikki, they did the right thing. Sometimes a little abuse can help you overcome fears.

they are shy, so its hard for them to go to a counselor

The other night I had a dream I was walking around my old neighborhood and I was with these two guys and we met some girls and they went the other way, but we wanted to talk to them so we went to take a shortcut on one street and somehow ended up in a forest by a waterfall and after we walked under it we were somehow in a giant Chuck E. Cheese like place walking in a net above a ball pit and there were a lot of people we got separated and I ate some pizza and saw a fat girl then I went to the bathroom and found another pizza and that's all I remember.

What does that mean?

Psychology in Japan is a carefully choreagraphed session. People over there only do whatever it is they think Psychologists do, not actual psychology. It is a bizarre field of science for the Japanese with their outdated beliefs and culture.

Why not? Don't you think they've tried everything including counseling before retorting to violence?

Sometimes, physical abuse can scare you out of bad habits. Or at least force you to think of changing your habits.

Hikikomorism is more than just a "bad habit," it's a social disorder. Yelling at someone and throwing water on them isn't going to cure anyone of social anxiety. If anything it would make them more scared of other people.

>Why is it so hard to see dreams in Animes?

It's cause your subconscious mind doesn't have make clear distinctions such as 3d/2d modo. You can often dream about animesque characters, but usually only as a meme - how they appear really doesn't tend to be clear.

Though, if you practice lucid dreaming, you should be able to better shape the exact apperance of your dreams.

OP here. i asked why is it so hard to see dreams IN animes, not animes in dreams.
In other words, why don't we see dream sequences in animes, why don't we see the character having dreams when its so common in Hollywood to have dream scenes?
Maybe japanese people don't remember their dreams, so they almost never include dreams in animes.

Yes, i dream about animes or videogames, but thats not what i meant, i meant the opposite.

Speaking of which, what exactly did his dream symbolize? I understood there were sexual overtones, but have no idea about the specifics.

Every single thing he mentioned is a classical phallic representation. Also, some things such as the sword piercing the apple represents intercourse.

>> No.1970844

>>1970836
I caught all that; I guess I just wanted to know if there was anything more specific to be gleaned from there (for instance, 'ocean' is a common euphemism for vagina, so the snake diving into the ocean is a fairly obvious one).
