Do VNs with "realistic" characters exist?
I'm tired of all these characters who always seem to act based on their archetypes, you have the tsundere, the calm girl, the yandere with the sad past, etc...
Most of the characters in the VNs are extremely predictable.

I'm looking for characters who actually have life beyond the main protagonist, who don't act singlemindlely based on some archetype, a character you wouldn't be able to immediately categorize as the tsundere or moe girl.

The thing is... many of these characters may have been presented as one of these *at the beginning*. But more is revealed about them and you realise that almost everyone you know can be put into any of those groups, just that there is so much more about them that makes them different.
The only reason why you hardly ever see this is because you rarely meet strangers in VNs... like you would IRL. As such, VN characters are more likely to be more familiar, and it is the stereotypical features which grab your attention first.

Sunohara is pretty realistic. I've known a couple of them during my high school years.
