Did we ever knew why she attacked the moon ? With a youkai army she could have brought back the age of darkness upon the earth. Even though youkais were first created by lunarian to cull down on human it is rather unclear how the earth being a cesspool of litteral evil and superstition taking living form was actually beneficial in term of impurity. The youkais and gods during the age of darkness were certainly strong enough to fuck shit up on the moon too. It makes no sense.
