'Sperg' is derogatory slang that describes someone with Asperger's Syndrome (a form of autism), although lately it is used to describe someone with intense passion in something. If we were going with the classic definition then I'd say Koishi is a sperg. If we were to use the modern definition then I suppose you could call characters like Sumireko (intense passion for the occult) a sperg. Patchouli is not one to have outbursts of her interests (books and magic) as she is usually quiet and reserved.

So yes, the sperghu is both Koishi and Sumireko depending on what you choose to define 'sperg' as.
