Synopsis
"Sacrife your life for the most glorious thing"

As El-Melloi II and Gray were investigating the Heartless's ghastly trail, they recived news of the "Crown rank decision."
All the nobles and agents assemble in conference. Of course El-Melloi II is included. However, disaster strikes as the aristocratic faction and democratic faction are both shaken up and the entire Magecraft Association is thrown into disarray within a spiral of conspiracy.
Underneath the Clocktower a large labyrinth expands... and its survivor.
A mysterious, serial disappearance case.
And the equally competent rulers of the clocktower.

So as a rather fitting conclusion to a magus-focused series, we get every single lord in a big conspiracy plot.
We might finally get Lorelei for the first time in forever, since she has a big role at the Clock Tower. Maybe a Zelretch appearance too?
And the labyrinth makes this seem like a direct sequel to Fate/Labyrinth, the survivor being Norma Goodfellow who was saved by Gray.
Potential for BIG LORE involving Caubac Alcatraz, if Sanda wants to keep feeding us info on the Tsukihime side of things.

Case Files started like a year before GO shit. It's been one of the saving graces of modern TM that I can look forward to since it doesn't have that Servant focus, and often give us cool lore on the interesting parts of the Nasuverse.
Ending soon though, gotta pray harder for the Remake.

It's officially published and totally canon, made by the same guy who did the Melty Blood, Melty Blood X, and Hana no Miyako manga.
He definitely prefers a very weird tone and goes into weird lore territory, mixing stuff like Neco Arc with "real" characters.
Sad that we couldn't get a more serious Tsuki spin-off, and especially one more detached from GO shit during these past years. But it was still cool that Rojiura Nightmare existed.

Hi. I'm a game designer, and my current project is an RPG about teenagers and young adults with guardian spirits, a sort of hybrid of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Fate/ with the serial numbers filed off. I know a lot about JoJo's, but not a lot about Fate/.

In Fate there is a great assembly of sorcerers and witches every 60 years in the town of Fuyuki City. In that town they summon ghosts from the past to kill each others, but then this time the ghosts are celebrities like King Arthur incognito or Chu-chulain.

The main character is called Shiro and he is the only child of a cursed sorcerer called Shiro's dad. Shiro's dad was cursed by an opponent in the previous ghost war. When he died Shiro promised to become the greatest sorcerer alive. He summoned King Arthur incognito (disguised) unwittingly in the first day of the ghost summoning ritual.

Other dramatis personaes include the official witch queen of Furuki (Rin Tosaka), an evil priest, a Greekian witch I completely forgot the name, Sakura the childhood friend, Sakura's brother, and also a hot girl which is the summon of Sakura's brother.

At the ends the evil priest wants to use magic to open a portal to hell, and Shiro and King Arthur come to defeat him.

How did Nasu pull it off?
How does every single Far side route have one or two genuinely unforgettable, GOAT scenes? How do they all tug at the reader's heartstrings so perfectly?

You know, for the Remake, I really don't mind if he expands a lot on Near side and Sacchin's route with more chuuni, more characters, bigger and flashier fights, more lore, etc.
But for the Far Side, I really hope he doesn't go against the essence of what those routes are. They're what makes Tsukihime unique as a horror/+psychological story combined with a chuuni setting.

The past would be high fantasy especially the age of Gods and most especially concerning True Magic and it exponentially decreases as it gets closer to modern times.

Ciel's route is just a better Arcs route. It has a more interesting plot, better Shiki development, better Roa development, even better Arc development.

Ciel route is also the route that explains Roa's motivations and Roa's motivations are tied to Arcueid. The Ciel route is less the "Ciel route" as it is the Roa route.

The Nasuverse is high fantasy. Even when you're talking about a very small subset of the Nasuverse (that is, magecraft), you'll find that everyone has exceptional magecraft that breaks all rules, artifacts that can destroy cities, rituals that can break dimensions, absolute immortality, or other kinds of bullshit. Even when the Nasuverse tries very hard to be low fantasy it can't help but subvert it just afterward.

Like Aoko's Divine Buster which is 100% magecraft powered, but comes from the fact that her magic circuits spins very fast (?!). The Grail War is also literally magecraft powered, and can summon almost infinite power.

Arbitrary distinctions like "well, it's not pure magecraft" are, well, arbitrary when every single important magecraft users in the setting can shit out a bullshit ability from somewhere, or has become an immortal blood-sucking alien, or can summon a noble phantasm, or can geas an entire city, or...
