So i finished Saya no uta, i thought it was fantastic. I never did quite catch why Fuminori got that strange condition in the first place. Was it just a side effect from getting surgery after the car crash or was it implemented in him during surgery?

If it was just a side-effect how was it linked with Saya. He just happens to get an illness where he sees everything as flesh and monsters but luckily there is an entity crawling around who will appear normal to him? seems a bit far fetched.

..It's finally translated...? Never thought I would see the day Saya would be fully translated.

The original group dropped it and it was picked up by another group and translated within 1-2 months

The fact that the doctor had researched Saya so much makes it seem like Fuminori was altered so that he could see Saya the way she was, and thus fulfill her purpose. Anything else would just be too coincidental.

It's surprising isn't it?

Remember all those threads where all they would do in it would bitch at how hard it is to translate? Saying stuff like it's on par with porkslope shit.
