As of today I have finished Tsukihime!

Final thoughts:
Arc: Fun route, but pretty bland overall.
Ciel: 2nd favorite route despite what memes /jp/ likes to spout
Akiha: Cool route, but still my least favorite for the incest (I don't care if they aren't related, even in the h scenes she calls him Nii-san) and Akiha just annoys me.
Hisui: Favorite.
Kohaku: DAW incarnate
Eclipse: FUCK! YOU! NASU!

Kohaku had some of the greatest scenes in the game, and Arc's story told the most familiar story in Tsukihime.

Ciel was shit. Hisui had too much bedtime (loved the insanity scenes though). Akiha was lame, but has a special place as the first Far Side route.

ECLIPSE was lolwhut.

Also, Eclipse is the perfect end to Tsukihime. It's a dream at the end of everything where Shiki faces his own imminent mortality and is perfectly fine with it, since he's gotten to be with a lot of people and live a life which he doesn't have to have numerous regrets.

Except for killing Sacchin, but he forgets about her, so it's all good.

Getting everything in the main story isn't really a pain if you enjoyed Tsukihime, it's mostly fanservice that doesn't go anywhere, but its cute. Seeing Hisui wearing Arc's sweater will cause a nutbladder rupture or two

After you unlock all the side stories, read all of them (most are awesome, like the story about Shiki's father). Then you'll get to read all the summer festival stories and dreaming drinking moon.

tl;dr its only a big task if you didn't enjoy Tsukihime.
