I know that Chihaya easily has the best singing statistically, but in practice, I'm of the opinion that Azusa's 隣に・・・ easily has the best singing of anything IDOLM@STER. Listen for yourself.

In fact, her entire character album has some damn amazing singing. Her rendition of Kiss Me Goodbye, for example, is beautiful.

Speaking of vocals from IDOLM@STER, let's take a look at Makoto, who has a very strong voice, doing a rendition of Chara's Swallowtail Butterfly, a very soft song. It's quite different from most of what Makoto sings, and the vocals are particularly good.

Post more awesome songs, faget. Otherwise I'll be stuck here listening to all of these songs all day.

Now let's look at Yukiho, who normally has a very soft voice, doing a cover of an enka song. While it fits her image very well, actually singing enka requires her voice take on a more powerful tone.

Miki doesn't have the best of the singing voices, but I love her cover of すいみん不足 because it just fits her character so damn well.

Nobody likes Ritsuko, but I at least enjoy her cover of Pizzicato Five's 東京は夜の七時.

Let's continue exploring classic Japanese pop songs and listen to Iori's rendition of "Do You Remember Me" instead of Garnet (which is also a very good song.)

Now let's listen to Chihaya sing something completely out of character.

Kosmos, Cosmos just......doesn't sound like Yukiho.

I'm not sure why you'd think that. Doesn't sound like her voice? It very much does. Doesn't sound like her style? It might be a little upbeat, but it suits her pretty well.

Now Go My Way, that doesn't suit her.

I fucking love Azusa's Kiss me Goodbye.
Reminds me I never finished FFXII. Too bad I don't give a shit about it anymore.

K,C is rather powerful.
Can't wait for Master Box 6 to come out so I can listen to her singing Overmaster solo.

yeah, but so is fuyugeshiki, and that works really well with her.

The song itself is pretty powerful, but her voice still has a softness to it, giving a sort of contrast, which I like.
