The mooks at the beginning of the game were sent by Larg and Dycedarg, I think. They wanted to scoop her up and use her 'nobility' for their own purposes.

No clue about Ajora. He was some kind of demon-child or something, I think? The Zodiac monsters were basically products of Satan and they wanted to revive him, so it makes sense.

Is this a "Final Fantasy Tactics" thread? I played that game once and thought it sucked pretty hard, I didn't understand how anyone could like it. Then again, people like games along the lines of Halo and Persona 3. I suppose it's popular because it's called "Final Fantasy." Oh no, I'm not bashing Final Fantasy, some of the games are pretty good (8 at least since it doesn't repeat the same gameplay of Dragon Quest I).

Is this some sort of troll? Now, I enjoyed VIII, but it was fucking terrible. Useless Magic, leveling up is bad for you, rageworthy salary system, the story was GENERIC ACADEMY SHONEN ANIMU, etc, etc.
