Why is China so far up ahead in translating VNs, doujins and anime? How did those godless communists beat our capitalistic system of translation?

too true, my first anime was on spanish television and my first fansubs were on VHS sold in the markets of a mexican border town. though i think only the rich fucks in large cities can afford japanese classes to do translations and then they just bootleg the shit out
