Yes and No to the matter of Makai. There isn't a way to it near the Shrine and things about it might work differently (like, Shiki may not exist) but sure on the whole it's probably roughly the same.

Many anons here on /jp/ see Okina taking the same role that Mima had in regards to Marisa. I'm not sure what is exactly meant by it, since I haven't played HSiFS yet, but that's where the Mima -> Okina thing comes from.

Considering Marisa wants to visit Makai afterward and can't without the ship, I don't see why there'd be an entrance around the shrine. If there were, Marisa would regularly use it, like she uses the entrance to old hell.

Okina is mildly obsessed with making Marisa into her mindslave. It's not exactly the same relationship, and Marisa is THOROUGHLY uninterested. Rather scared, honestly.

Regardless if there were an entrance still there and she knew about it, Marisa would absolutely try to find a way in. Consistent behavior like that throughout the series. One example: her finding Kasen's home by accident, then trying to find it on purpose despite there being a goddamn tiger patrol.

That's true. It was Reimu though, who made the most trips to Makai and the way she entered in HRtP and MS and whether the entrance was the same is still unclear, like most things.
