What happened, Japan? I used to be able to get good Melon Pan, but the last several attempts, ordering several varieties from several sources, have all looked and tasted like yellow goop on a dinner roll. WHERE'S THE GOOD SHIT?! THE MELON PAN OF MY MISSPENT YOUTH?!?!

Never had a problem with the ones I got from 7-11. There was also a little bakery in Kyoto down the street from the Hyatt Regency towards the metro station that had great melonpan and a lot of other delicious bread and pastries.
