Puni Ana DX (regular). I've only used it 3 times so far, but I absolutely love it. To expand a bit more, the screen door effect is what happen when you have a screen being magnified right in your face. When you look through the lenses, you can see the pixels clearly enough that it looks like you're staring at things as if a screen door is right on your eyes. It's still neat, and both the things in vr games and the tiddies in this VR jav I found in particular really did almost look like they were right there...but only almost. The pixels really brought me out of it.

I got the HTC Vive on release, I haven't tried any other VR headset.
The ones you're probably seeing in that price range are phone VR headsets.
