Because being the unlimited duration Mage Armor is Sylseth's shtick. That's the trouble when there's multiple premium blacks of a class. They kind of have to be given different roles, and Grace's happens to just be one of periodic burst that's ment to complement a (mostly unnecessary/superfluous) kit of being able to block 5 and deal ranged AoE damage with high attack, defense, and MR.

I have both and you're retarded for even trying to compare them. Grace isn't even meant to be used as a duelist for starters, her specialty is her ability to be dropped anywhere with very minimal support and be a nuke for 30 seconds that will hold back just about anything besides boss units. She has ridiculously high stats in every regard across the board for a unit that gets all her stats upfront instantly.

Sylvia needs buttloads of support to function properly in a lot of actually difficult maps because the ramp up time is a real downside. You need to make sure magic enemies don't shred her down for starters, and in Majins you often have to deal with other boss monsters moving out shortly before the actual Majin which becomes a problem if they reach Silvia up before her final ramped skill activates, since she's pretty weak before that. So because of that, you also need extremely high dps units to isolate the target for her to duel. For example, in something like Amon, you absolutely need units like Rion and Nunally complimented by a dancer to completely shred those two mage demons in level 15 because they will fuck Sylvia 10 ways to Sunday, as there's no way to ramp her fast enough to deal with them. The upside is by supporting her properly you get a nigh-immortal duelist that doesn't need healer support, which is a massive upside, but it doesn't step on Grace's toes even remotely because that's literally all Sylvia does - duel bosses.

The only map I'd really call Sylvia absolutely disgusting in is Barbatros and it shouldn't be a surprise that a unit balanced around not having a healer would shine on a map designed to completely fucking neuter healers, and even then, all she does still is just duel Barbatos and hold him in place forever.

Because then Sylseth would be completely outclassed as fuck. Grace and her fill different roles even if they're the same class. Sylseth is meant to be used as a backliner while Grace is meant to be a frontliner.

I also have Eldora actually. It's because she sucks, nothing to do with Sylvia. Even if Sylvia didn't exist, Eldora would still be a very mediocre unit. Her only niche is her normal skill which can nullify both physical and magical damage unlike most dodge tanks, but I can count on one hand number of times that's actually mattered even slightly. If there's a unit that actually makes Eldora bad it's Sera, who can dodge/nullify tank as a 0 cost unit instead of 30+ while buffing Mage Prince, Sybilla, White Emperor and whatever else you have. Her SAW is actually similar to Grace but just worse because she costs +7 more and can only attack 2 units at a time as opposed to an AoE, and the good version is a one time use.

Well, it seems that Nutaku's FKG is soon to have its second anniversary event, so here is another list summarizing the updates DMM FKG had for the last year and a half. If anyone here is playing the EN version, this should be a decent resource to guess what's in store for the coming months - I think they're pretty good at keeping pace with the quality of life updates, at least, and their engine means that they have quite a few mechanics head of time too (though I'd be glad if a Nutaku player filled in what's there and what's missing, they should have finished everything up to DMM's February 2017 by now).

I know that they're still a bit behind on character quests, bloomed forms and special maps, though, and that is something of a problem because DMM started another major character update every time the last one finished - blooming arrived about when the last few CQs were being completed, and we got rarity growth just after all characters obtained their bloomed forms (ability-only blooming was also implemented to increase that pace). I don't know if they're willing to take feedback of this kind, but it really is high time that they started hiring more translators to handle the workload, it's good that they're implementing blooms out of order in response to player requests but their rate is still too low.

They also need to look into implementing regular log-in bonuses (if they haven't already), because even if they're stingy with flower stones, some extra stamina nectar, fairies and ampules would go a long way to ensure customer loyalty (and they have no reason not to do it, that overpriced ampule shop still isn't bringing any revenue). DMM started getting constant 30% stamina off campaigns around the two-year mark, and 1.5x gold/great success rate up campaigns were likewise a regular sight by then, so that's another thing you should expect, and the second anniversary would be a pretty good way to introduce these without doomsayers getting into the "Nutaku being generous means they're getting desperate" mood.

And jeez, that sure was a lot of updates. I started to regret this about four months in, but by then sunk cost fallacy had set in, so I'll just hope that I haven't skipped too much and there aren't too many errors (some things like stealth SD changes and ability buffs definitely aren't in, and I probably looked over a lot of minor QoL updates).

There are a few high-tier units, but of course they'll lose out to Shrine equivalents. Depending on what you have, Fran, Waltz, Charlotte, Kanon, Reanbell, Isabelle, Rikka, Chloe, Helena, and Lucia are good to aim for in some capacity.

Regarding Kanon specifically (good taste btw, she is the cutest girl in the game), she is the best gunner besides Frederica, and pulls her weight especially well in subjugations when paired with a Rearguard.

She's the entire reason I even started playing about 4 years ago. I ticketted Sarah partially to make her even stronger and I've made it a point to use her in every Majin 15 clear except Glasya Labolas which unfortunately forced me to shelve both her and Ingrid because they thought it was necessary to give the enemies 90 fucking MR. Really hard to use them when the enemies are still mitigating about 30% of your damage output even after Giga Barrier Break.

I feel a little bad that Ingrid won over my heart a bit when she first came out since the whole "straightforward and pure knight but wears a ridiculously lewd outfit" struck a huge bullseye with me, but they work so well together and have taken down so nearly every majin as a duo that I like to think they're close anyway.

I don't like her. Assuming you have Athena she's a wasted slot. Her second ability is useless since Athena already can tank everything and take near 0 damage with her def up + cover. If you don't have Athena you need some shitty SR with cover to make use of it.
Similarly, the third ability which creates a single target potion is kind of wasted since bosses nowadays either do aoe/multiple targets damage, or they one shot someone (and you can avoid that with athena anyways). Long battles in which she can generate more potions (GO, acces5) already drop more than enough potions themselves.

If you have unraised gacha golds, it's probably a good idea to focus on them and slowly phase out your weaker units, who will then serve to fill out your whale slots. Blooming your favorite girls would be good too, especially during experience up campaigns, and you can also add 504461103 for a decent ally if you need to punch through harder maps. As for the whale, the first few stages aren't that difficult: I easily took on the first two with a 270k team + 180k ally, and that should be doable with a roster of evolved girls (but take care to get a good first team for the small fry). I'm not a gigantic spender compared to others, but I have dropped money on the game. I bought the black ticket and the 10k point training pack, so that's an extra 2 pities at worst + a ticketable. I lucked out and drew 3 with those crystals, and my ticketed.

In addition to knight/knight pairings, there are several nicely designed female knightmasters on Twitter, and from what I can see, the community has a nice laissez-faire attitude where het and yuri discussions can take place side by side.

I'm alright with this, actually, since the target audience of browser games isn't really yuri fans. I'm even okay with these dedicated "dicking lesbians straight" games, I may avoid them but some people are into that as well. Judge not that ye be not judged.

To further elaborate, I don't think its written anywhere that the character has to stop liking girls after they get dicked and enjoy it since the people into these kind of things would enjoy it and embrace it so its still possible to have yuri stuff instead of it all stopping when the self insert inserts themselves inside them.

As long as its only girls though. The majority of your audience would be perfectly okay with girls that love both guys and other girls but you'd have a horde of angry otaku if you add male x male stuff in your game.

Started FKG recently, but i've hit a wall. How are you supposed to level your girls? You need a bazzilion manyu and i'm just not getting that many.

That just takes time in the early game. It should go a bit faster for you if you are using your manyu keys.

The events are also usually a good source of xp fairies.

Level one girl to max first since that unlocks max level for your friend's helper teams.

If you don't have friends with strong helpers (up to 180k power) just ask and anons will post their IDs.
