Lets talk about vrchat and virtual youtubers for a moment,
>Do you watch vrchat players
Yes/no
Why/why not?
>Do you watch virtual youtubers who also play vrchat
Why/why not?
>Why watch one but not the other if stated?
Is it ethnicity, lack of memes, the characters they play?
No need to answer but this is what I'm getting at, take neets, cute little Ponkotsu mecha, that's their character, virtual youtuber, matsix, plays psycopath little girl who randomly stabs people, not defined as a virtual youtuber but has made videos and both people have even made their own creations (matsix has made maps), with the difference being matsix is usually a side character to other vrchat user's videos , we also have people like oathmeal who play a mute neko girl running around who make their own videos, and of course, pic related though that seems to have ended.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, what is there to define a virtual youtuber who plays vrchat from a youtuber who plays vrchat who plays a character, even they do other things besides vrchat, just without their avatar in use
Before I got invested in virtual youtubers I was actually getting bored of vrchat videos because of all the rp memes and stuff, and yet here I am gasping because kurumi shows up with a whole bunch of other vy's like some sorta drama show and can't help but draw a comparison, well except those vrchat videos where they go around showing those knuckles in different forms, I hope that meme is dead because I've avoided them in my feed for months now.
Am I thinking about this too hard, am I retarded, its like the japanese are making me fall in love again with the vrchat scene
