Is the guy who translated Hacker9 here? Or anyone who played it?
Do I actually trigger an event by littering the pond or is that sign just cosmetic?

Also what are the differencies between Hack9 and Hacker9? I thought they were different games but they look like one is the upgrade of the other?

>Is the guy who translated Hacker9 here?
Yeah.

>Do I actually trigger an event by littering the pond or is that sign just cosmetic?

Yeah you do. Each of the items can be obtained as you unlock more floors. Some are hidden in dangerous places.

When you toss them all in a voice who refers to Snort as 'Onii-chan' chastises you for a bit. It can be inferred that being speaking to you is Nine, and who in the last game in the series (Ghost9Solid ) is the now called Tomari.

I believe there are actually two more easter eggs in the game (from the missing/untranslated text Wahiko shot our way before the English version was done), but I have yet to discover how to unlock it in game. (One involves Kanou&Kitaooji, and another with Noguchi.

Since I haven't found it using my usual play style, the trigger is either tile specific (i.e. you must step on a particular floor tile of the event won't trigger (the mission Sayonara Paranoid Mom is this way) and/or item specific (i.e you have to have an item(s) on you or drop them somewhere). Or it could be that it just wasn't implemented.

>Also what are the differencies between Hack9 and Hacker9? I thought they were different games but they look like one is the upgrade of the other?

It's both really. The first version of Hack9 had no world object/item physics, and was the first game in the series. Hacker9 employed the same graphics more or less, but you can collect and interact with items found in the environment, and the game is larger in general (more environments, bosses). It's also a sequel in the game's continuum (I won't say direct sequel because on Wahiko's twitter the game's timeline is posted occasionally, and it isn't linear)

I'd might as well post the partial translation I did for Ghost9Solid demo 2&3 here.
