Oh Shannon your fatness is exceptional.

>> No.1857344

she isnt fat

>> No.1857366

Why does she have a giant hand print on her thigh?

>> No.1857367

>>1857366
Because I have giant hands.

>> No.1857369

I was pretty disappointed by the anime character designs for Shannon and George. They're both clearly heavier than the other characters and their looks (or at least George's) are brought up in the dialogue quite a few times. I considered it an important part of their characters that they were both rather average-looking (if not below) but easily the two nicest people on the island. Why does everyone in anime have to be either gorgeous or a hambeast?

>> No.1857480

>>1857369

Eh, don't know. George looks kind of average in the anime. And heavy? It's just poor drawing. Really.

Preferences in the 2D world are different from ours.

>> No.1857483

>>1857480 again.

I meant "poor drawing in the game", not the anime.

>> No.1857502

>>1857480

Regardless of the overall quality of the art, they're proportionally bigger than the other characters. A similar complaint would be if Battler was as short as Maria in the anime, despite the obvious difference in the game and multiple references in the dialogue to their heights.

I'd say that George looks like a bishonen in the anime. I suppose the fact that he isn't fat will help with increase the number of Battler/George doujinshi.

Since the director of Umineko has also directed a shonen-ai series beforehand, I wonder if she had a hand in this...

>> No.1857626

>>1857524
This is why I raged when I saw the character designs for the anime.
Almost all of the characters have that FABULOUS look.

>> No.1858165

>>1857626
At least Maria has a DFC. Considering that she's 9 the fact she had breasts in the original didn't make much sense.

I do not necessarily consider this a good thing.

Now, Ronove and Battler...

I want to see more Battler/Goat men doujins

Where was George ever described as "fat"?
I only remember Shannon teasing him that he would get fat if he continued loading up his plate at that buffet

As for bishounens. . . . . hello thar Lulu

>> No.1858219

>>1858209
George looked like he had a bit of muscle instead of looking like he was fat. Shannon did look hefty from her normal sprite, but looked fine if you looked at her entire body in the TIPS screen.

Isn't Kannon supposed to be 15

All the girls at Jessica's school really liked him, so he ought to look good.

can someone post the other character designs?

just when you understand Higurashi they add MORE stuff to it.

Higurashi is over, you explained everything, why do you have to make it more complicated again?

>> No.1858253

>>1858247
Nothing is ever fully explained. Everything has the chance of being the work of something far worse.

It's a rule of fiction.

>> No.1858254

>>1858194
Vore fans would certainly love that.

>> No.1858262

>>1858247
Actually Umineko simplified Higurashi instead of complicating it, instead of thinking about everything we can now legitimately say "A wizard did it"

>> No.1858271

>>1858262
I guess I'll pretend Umineko never happened then. lalala

. . . . . .
Yes because witches are so much harder to accept then horned loli goddesses right?

>> No.1858283

>>1858271
Why? Nothing in Umineko negates the explanations provided in Higurashi.
