Kigurumi (着ぐるみ) is a kind of costuming where the player wears a full body skin suit (called a hadatai) along with an anime mask. The Japanese word "kigurumi" refers to any kind of full-body costume, but in this thread we're specifically looking for anime masks combined with skin-toned bodysuits - sometimes known as "animegao" kigurumi.

I know the low-end is Munimuni, Gurglelove, and Rageki - I'd be happy going in on a cheap one to get started, but I'd love a recommendation from between these (or any of the other cheap makers I'm not aware of.) Mumi is no longer in business. They weren't made of actual fiberglass anyway and where prone to cracking the inner shell. Gurgle is still recovering from pregnancy. Rageki revamped his mask designs and is now back. Dimension Breaker seems to be a really good beginner mask too. Only about $400, full enclosure and locking with other options if your looking for a similar priced mask. Mania only does BJD styled kigs now.
