Few months ago somebody said that Nitroplus makes the best visual novels nobody hasn't played. Since I hadn't played any of them, I could only agree.
Now, looking at current projects at TLWiki we have translations coming for Zanmataisei Demonbane, Sumaga, Saya no Uta, Jingai Makyou, Gekkou no Carnevale and Chaos;Head.

So, just how good are their visual novels? I've read some of Saya and Sumaga, and those two seem really good.

I've been playing Saya no Uta over the last few days, and had to stop 'cause the translation isn't finished.
It is, quite simply, the scariest game I have ever played. And I have played many horror games, and seen many horror movies. None have come close.

Wait and judge for yourself. You can already play Phantom of Inferno and Chaos;Head. Saya and Sumaga are coming along quite well, and if Makoto picks up where he left off on Demonbane he was blazing through that shit like Speedy Gonzalez.

Phantom of Inferno, Hello, World and Saya are usually considered as the best.
Gekkou no Carnevale, Kikokugai and Sumaga are well liked as well.
Demonbane is usually hit or miss.
Jingay Makyou doesn't get much love, except for OH GOD IRIS IS HOT, Hanachirasu is usually the forgettable.

Chaos;Head, not so good. The rest of those are pretty good. I especially liked Gekkou no Carnevale and Saya no Uta.

Also my favorite Nitroplus eroge is Hello, World.
The art may not be that good and the MOE MOE feeling may be surprising from Nitro+ but goddam the game delivers.

There are about 822 script files in Sumaga.
I'm working on the 118th now. It's been a month since I started. I'd say the translation is finished around June, could be earlier too.

There are about 8 routes in it in fact. The three main heroines have their own, and alternative routes, and then there's one for Kusakabe and one for Oki.
