So I douwnloaded Ep 3 and the related patch. ?????.exe would never install so I had to cancel the process halfway through, but i threw the patch in a subfolder and used the onscript.exe and it seems to run fine.

But there is no music at all. I figured maybe I did something wrong, but there are not volume options either. So I guess what I'm asking is:

Does Umineko not have music?

1, Mount the ISO
2, Copy every file from the iso to a folder in your hdd
3, Start the installation with AppLocale from the folder in your hdd
4, Read the readme from WH
5, Start onscripter-en.exe with Applocale too

Congratulations! Now you can play Umineko without any problem!

I just got it from rapidshare, though its down atm.

Well I copied all the files to my hdd, so I get the damn seagulls calling at the Witch Hunt screen, but its just black after that.

Applocale won't run instsub.exe, launcher.exe, or うみねこのなく頃に.exe (from the fullsrc folder), nor will it run onscripter-en.exe (which it shouldn't need to anyways.)

So now I'm actually worse off then I was before, because there is nothing to read.

Actually no.

It works now. I didn't use applocale at all, because it would run anything. What I ended up doing is

1) Copying everything in the mounted iso to my hdd.
2) Running the iso normally like a cd, and installing the stuff into a subfolder of where I copied everything.
3) Cut paste those installed files up unto the main directory above. (yes it replaced some files with the same thing)
4) Cut paste the patch folder into a subdirectory.
5) Ran the onscripter-en.exe

Well, I wonder if it will work perfectly or not. At least run onscripter-en.exe in japanese locale. The BGM folder supposed to have 87 tracks, and the ones with japanese characters in the filename won't play ingame if you don't do so, for some reason.
