I always wondered, do they dislike americans (I mean, they dropped an atomic bomb on them)?

Do they dislike Europeans?
I know Japan was allied with Italy and Germany during WW2, but I don't know about other european countries? Also, Super Mario is Italian so I guess they like Italy.
