I was most of the way through playing F/SN for the first time when I had my hard drive die on me. I was wondering if anyone could please point me to a save file so that I can resume from approximately where I left off in Heaven's Feel; Shirou waking up after having his arm blown off in the forest, and Ilya and Tohsaka moving in with him and Sakura. At first I didn't understand the reasoning... the h cg are particularly weird, the aspect ratio isn't changed, they just duplicate parts of the scene where there would be borders in the window. They also ported the entire thing to renpy, which is weird. My guess is both changes were made so they could sell it on android. From what I understand, they are selling it on amazon's android store as non adult, and getting around the rules by having the adult content be an in-app purchase and download.

Eiyu Senki Gold is probably better to think of as a remake. Kind of like... shin koihime? It's most of the same characters, and even re-uses some character sprites, but is basically completely rewritten, not sharing any text (or h scenes) with the original. Some changes are pretty drastic, Himiko isn't the main protagonist for example. The world map is roughly the same, and the gameplay is the same basic idea, but better tuned. I think progression is different, and I think the overall story is different too. There's other things, like dungeons to help you train characters, and there's multiple difficulties as well as achievements which give you points that can be used to give you starting bonuses (to make the hardest difficulties possible), as well as unlock new characters and events.

If they actually integrated the open-source code into their software and didn't provide source code of whatever integrated the open-source software, they would be in violation. If the used code is entirely stand-alone (and you can recompile it using the public code and use the result to replace whatever functionality they're using) they're allowed to ship it with their product (assuming the license isn't the kind that restricts commercial use or even more restrictive). If the license is free and not copyleft (for example, BSD license) they're allowed to do whatever they want with it with no obligation to provide source code.

Kirikiri can encounter issues because it uses system default locale to load files and it's script format is by default saved as SJIS (a recipe for errors). Luckily the engine supports UTF-16 scripts, so as long as developers convert all scripts from SJIS to UTF-16 it should not need any kind of locale emulation. Some games may load support data, so those functions may need to be adjusted to support proper locale, but that's about it. There shouldn't be any reason a krkr based game need any kind of locale emulator, any game should be fixable without recompiling.

Hi fellow /jp/s.
I'm nibbling at BSZ and wonder if I could get some help from coders/hackers.
It's on Unity, but with NexAS engine(which they apparently used for BS and other games) merged inside. Well, except this time they didn't put script next to other archives containing CG,BGM,SE etc. Using Process Monitor I figured that the script seems to be in .asset files with strange long names https://imgur.com/a/2TpJu (no, it's not .assetS, it's .asset. Opened it with hex editor and saw the line "CustomAssetBundle" so there seems to be a special way to read it inside the dlls)
I used DotPeek to decompile dlls in the Managed folder and found some classes/functions that seem to be related to that.
Also, I found out that settings are being encrypted+serialised/decrypted+deserialized using standard unity library. https://imgur.com/a/OpRe4 However, it doesn't seem that .asset files are. The encryption is not a problem,I think. They use standard Unity function for that and there are 2 examples of password in the code so I can take guesses.
This file, I think, is just battle configuration one.

That is a tad surprising as Nutaku really hasn't been going after Japanese titles recently (the only Japanese title they added between the end of April and last week was Please Bang My Wife), and MG or Jast seemed like a better fit to pick it up as a third party distributor. Separately, the original Wild Romance peaked at 23 concurrent users on Steam while the new R18 version has peaked at 19 concurrent users, though the R18 version seems like it will trail off faster.

Denpa also seems to have suddenly added the Ne No Kami and KaraKara sequels to Nutaku yesterday, along with the DLC for Nekonin. Granted those Denpa titles are only titles which already had franchises on Nutaku, but they are the first Denpa additions to the platform since April so it had seemed like the Denpa/Nutaku partnership was finished.
