With some version of AlphaRom it has to be applied on "reg.exe" in the game's folder instead of directly on the game's exe.

Really? Divorced mother because she wants to pursue her career? Why the fuck did Tone Works make the mother like this in VN about pure love? What's worse, the divorce is treated like it's nothing serious for the family as the parents still live in one town and MC could visit both of them easily. How could MC get a good impression of marriage or treating marriage as a serious thing if his parents could easily divorced and treated it like nothing? He probably would divorce the heroines too after their ending for his own or his waifu's career if things going this way. If Tone Works want non-blood related heroine, they could've just go with the traditional way of dead father/mother ->living parent remarry -> get non-blood-related sister, instead of touching divorce theme in a fucking pure love game.

Divorce is the act of breaking one of the most important stage of love that is marriage, it should never exist in any pure love game, except maybe for antagonist parent where the MC hates him/her and vows to never make the same pit like his divorcing parents. If Tone Works want to include realistic love VN, might as well throw in all realistic drama, break-ups because of petty stuff that could be avoided easily, and other stuff because having a relationship that last from high school to adulthood without rocky paths in-between is unrealistic as fuck.

Inside was a "TG version" of the game which contains what looks like the same version of the original VN I've read (I've skipped through most of the text and it seems the same) and a Prestory. Hi /jp/ I just finished Re:Zero and I was wondering are there any really good heart to heart moments with the MC and a girl in a VN.

In ep 18 one of the characters loves the mc and although could run off together doesn't for his sake, they go into a deeper conversation about loathing oneself, their own worth as a person, how they helped another, secrets, not giving up, and ends with confessions and curing the MC's despair.

It was one of the better done ones I've seen.

Also I know it's a popular and people will call it shit because of it or judge it harsher, but I'm really just looking for really amazing heart to heart moments in VN.

Isn't cracked yet. I know you guys were dissapointed with the first game, but the second one is really much better, the psychological part is well done. The MC who had an operation to fix his face, is really a low self-esteem guy and has a bitter and awkward personality because of the long years of bullying because his ugly face. After the operation he wanted to show his childhood friend first but it seems she didn't like his new looks and acted really cold. After a while he got scouted to be an idol and became one, but since he has a low esteem personality, he isn't doing much great, but the audionce are accepting him because he looks cute. In his new work place and life a lot of girls will approach him with different motives. One of them is the main heroine who seems to be a new idol and the daughter of a really rich company owning father.
In this game the MC is fully voiced and of course there is the " inside voice " system which you can hear the girls inner thoughts during H-scenes, most of them are really shocking.

The MC is really relatable this time, the whole game you just wish he won't fuck up. I hope this get cracked soon, the demo ends in really interesting part.

I finally finished Nanairo Reincarnation (or at least all routes except Iyo) and I gotta say, I'm a bit disappointed. I loved the comedy and SoL parts and almost all the characters were great but the route quality is all over the place. It's almost like every other route aside from Kotori was there just for the sake of having extra routes. It also doesn't help that there's really only one ending that was actually good. Everything else had no impact and felt like terrible conclusions. It also sucks that every route plays out almost the exact same. It's one of the reasons why I don't even feel like doing Iyo's route at this point since it'll just be the same shit again. Maybe my opinion on the VN would've been better if I started with Kotori's route. That was a big mistake on my part.

If you're looking for some older eroge, try looking up the company's brand pack torrent. Some are still well seeded.

For example the Akabeisoft one is, so it's an easy way to get G-senjou no Maou, like one guy above wanted.

Here is my crack. I patched the DVD check (good old GetDriveType) and it should accept any serial that doesn't contain 0,1 and letters, just write something like 2222-2222-2222 and you're good. I also patched some GetVolumeInformation loop that for some reason slowed down the startup. Use a locale emulator or the saves won't work.

The problem is just, that this kind of stuff is VERY personal. What's touching. What isn't touching? Most VNs kinda feature this. The question is just, how much do you react to it? Some don't mind if there's no logic involved. Some need things to actually make some sense and not just be random deus ex machina. Some like quiet girls. Some like confident girls. And so on.

Most can probably name a few VNs that have some memorable scenes in that regard... memorable for all kinds of reasons. (pic related is certainly also a kind of "heart to heart") But writing them down will not really help too much, I'd say.

I've only played one, and I'd assume most here are similarly. So "best" is hard to say. Okay, maybe you can count the recent Studio ego stuff as well, although technically it's a different brand. Most of the staff and the engine seems to be shared though.

I generally found the games alright, but not really must play. I just like my gameplay, so I had my fun there.
-"Izumo 4" needs quite some time to warm up until the gameplay gets fairly good. The story gets weaker as time goes on. Bonus points for yandere surprise. Playing more than one route is awful.
-"Meguru Sekai de Towanaru Chikai o!" seems really good at first, but both story and gameplay get worse. Gameplay has the issue that everything is the same. Once you realize that, it's eh. (especially because it's supposed to be like pokemon..) Story feels like it baited with a good writer and replaced it after like 2 chapters.
-"Tsuki no Michibiki Kumo Haruka" features quite nice strategy, if you play with the intention to never take damage. The system is very well done for that. The idea is never really changing, so you may get bored at some point. Story is mostly irrelevant and the romance pretty horrible here if you ask me.

So I'm somewhat familiar with the brand. I'm also familiar with how hard it is to do more than 1 route because you have to dungeon crawl all over again. I ended up getting their English translation of Kagura Douchuuki and I'm downloading a pirated version from animesharing because they never released an uncensored patch listing concerns about poor sales (which is obviously what will happen without an uncensor patch fools).

As for the war between Studio E-go and Debu no Su Seisakusho I'm glad it seems to be over with them working on titles together again. When Kazue quit and took her staff with her I thought Studio E-go was finished.

Just finished it and found it quite a bit weaker. While it doesn't have something as blatantly out of place as most of the routes of Mori Dreamers 1, its highs are way lower.
The main plot is a lot worse, especially the villain. It lacks purpose, unlike the first game. I mean the reason why all of this happened was pretty much coincidence. A lot of the normal chapters are this time shorter and feel less good on their own as well. In part even like a quick rehash. I like some of the new characters, but they weren't used very well I felt. They weren't quite given the time, and the way they were handled at the very end also felt unnecessary.

I the end this game really didn't need to exist. I feel like I overall prefer Kureha's route after common of Dreamers 1. That wrapped the story up better, even though there were still problems. It's not horrible if you want a bit more of Mori Dreamers. But the good parts unfortunately left me more wanting than satisfied.

Finally found time to finish Baldr Bringer.

What a fucking disappointment. Yes the final "route" (way too short), feels much more like a regular baldr series game but even the true end is mediocre as far as endings go. Gameplay was spam-gazillions-of-grunts-and-elites all the way to the end.

Yeah, while it was fun at the beginning due to novelty, it quickly got boring. The AI was not smart. They handled the difficulty by just adding more enemies and more health to them instead of making them smarter.
I would call it a downgrade from Zero's gameplay, and that says a lot. I actually liked Zero but it was still not finished. There were some raw places which they could improve. Yet they made it even worse. 3 weapons max from the pool of 11? Bullshit.
Zero was a true arcade skill-spamming game and I liked it. 6 weapons+3 skills+2 FC? Yes please. Armor that ensures enemies don't just flinch from any blow(which is quite unrealistic)? Yes please. Jumping on will? Yes please. Free map exploration during some missions for full immersion? Yes please. That's how shumicram battles should be!
Baldr Bringer is just another twin-stick with a small effort in RPG(I mean it was pretty bad. I didn't even have to think much. Just choose a weapon with higher total stats). Also force points were pretty useless.

Big fan of Baldr series but I honestly wouldn't even recommend this to anyone but the people who played all the Baldr mainline games because of the references. And even then, it really takes some time for something to actually happen.

tldr; I have mixed feelings. Main complaint is too long because of needless padding like a lot retarded mission events and a lot of sub-heroines who did little to help with the main story.

I've played Doukyuusei for a while and have gotten a lot of the heroines, (at least all the ones that I wanted to get in the first place, too lazy to 100% it). The game is pretty cool and holds up pretty well even though it was made in the 1990's. The dialogue can be pretty entertaining and there's a lot of life to it. I will note that it's kind of crazy when you compare this game to your modern moege. Throughout playing this game, I don't know if it's because it was a dating sim and just part of the genre, but I felt a lot of NTR/Netori vibes going on. One of the male side-characters has a crush on a certain heroine and he sees you taking said heroine to a love hotel to fuck her. One of the heroines gets dumped by one of the male side-characters, and then she has sex with you to make her forget about the guy that dumped her. Hell, one of the heroines goes straight up into nukige territory where you can just end up repeatedly having sex with a neglected wife.

I have some problems with the system being kind of tedious, but at the same time I felt like running around hunting down girls and trying to trigger events was part of the charm. I just wish that there was an easier way to figure out the girl's schedules so you could track them down. I've heard Doukyuusei 2 is better so I'm looking forward to playing it next.

Guys I have a problem. I'm trying to use ITHVNR because Windows 10 blows dick and normal ITH doesn't work for Natsuyume Nagisa, and I can get the game to work completely fine, but I cant attach the exe to ITHVNR. To run Natsuyume Nagisa I need to run NRL as administrator and then the game exe from that. If I try running NRL normally (not as admin) I get a run fail message. After getting it running, I try to attach it to ITHVNR as administrator since the process wont show unless ITHVRN is ran as an administrator too, and it just like does nothing. After clicking attach once all the buttons change like add profile and stuff but no process is added to the main window and after that if i try to attach again when i click okay it just does nothing. Any ideas?

lol its been a long time since i did VN stuff and I used to do stuff with AGTH which seems to be pretty outdated now so when I was downloading all the ITH stuff I saw some people said if ITH doesn't work use ITHVNR so i downloaded the first version i found and it was all in korean which was a little wtf but it seemed to work with another VN i tried with it, hatsuyuki sakura (made by same people, SAGA PLANETS but newer) and it worked with that. I came in expecting this to be forgettable.

The only complaint I have so far is they're always saved after being raped and returned to town where the monster 'essence' is cleansed from them (the only exception is if they're forced to give birth immediately to monster spawn which so far, has happened with the snake monster). That makes the comments about being impregnated kinda pointless. It would be a bit more enjoyable if they were trying to keep up the fight with the jizz of 40 monsters in their belly fighting each other over their fertile eggs. But what can you do.

Certain elements work better against others. I just went with the default for Hein. You'll need to use guardians that give bonuses to defense and heal either way since even if it's their strong element characters can get killed really fast by bosses. If you're only doing one playthrough go for Law and Leona's ending. She's the only character that gets a nice epilogue after the last sex scene and it feels like a complete route while the others just cut after the sex is over. Chaos route stops before the last chapter so you'll miss some plot revelations and the whole last area in the game.

Yuzusoft is not the height of moege by any means. In a good moege there will be something you enjoy in every scene, just like in any good book.
Plotge do work better than moege in some aspects; by the time you get to an a girl's H-scene in a good plotge you should already have a deep emotional connection with her, and your first time will be super meaningful.
But girls in moege don't get murdered or raped or fall in love with other men. Like >>17915612 that bothered me less before I had a stressful job. I don't mind characters being one dimensional and gimmicky, neither of those things makes a character bad. If I wanted realism, I'd talk to real people. And I don't mind if a heroine is cliched or a clone either, if she's just like a girl I've fallen in love with, I get to fall in love all over again! Unique heroines are great, of course, but you can't beat vanilla ice cream.

The best thing about all VNs is how much control you have over reading them. You don't just get to choose your girlfriend, you also get to completely shape your experience. When you buy a moege, you basically have 40 hours of happiness in a box. You can blow through it all at once and have a weekend you'll remember for the rest of your life, or read twenty minutes once a week and have the longest running, most lascivious moe anime ever. You can read one route per year and when you come back you'll have a story that is fresh and nostalgic at the same time. You can do anything in between. If a VN isn't enough for you, read it faster. If it's too much for you, read it slower.

Done with Noratoto 2. In some ways better than I expected, in some ways worse than I hoped.

First of all, the production values are definitely great, and the music is still great and varied as well.

Now for the branching. The was already a problem in the first game, as any route but Pato's felt weird and unfitting. Giving how this game kinda branches off Noratoto 1, the whole game has this issue. But even apart of that, the branching point here is utterly terrible. One option continues the story. The others throw it into the garbage bin and do something completely unrelated. In fact, Iris, the supposed "main heroine" of the game, doesn't even really appear outside of her route. 1 minute in Lucia's route. That's it. What the fuck?

-Iris: Her design is fucking awful. Her voice acting pretty awesome. The setup of her route lets her start with one hell of a negative impression. I still ended up liking this enough. Imagine if she'd been in her own game with an actual not horrible design...
-Lucia: Okay for the plot, too drawn out afterwards. Lucia isn't really able to carry slice of life and/or romance on her own. She was never that kind of character. And yet somehow she got by FAR the most of that, including ero.
-Eu: Incomplete. What Lucia had too much could've been used to complete this one instead. That said, the "story" was very much of the "fuck, I don't know what to write anymore!" tier, though ultimately irrelevant I guess.
-Nobuchina: As I feared. The author had no clue what made her likable. The route screws up almost everything. Even the ero. Congratz. Give the girl, who shines in absurd situations and comedy, the by far most serious route of them all.


This was definitely a mess in some ways, mostly Nobuchina's route though. Overall it's probably still on the same level as Noratoto 1.. with the kinds of routes THAT had, other than Pato's. Has a worse aftertaste for me though.

You have to solve a quadratic equation to find the endpoints, do two definite integrals, and then minimize their sum (which is in absolute values) with respect to a+b=1, and making even one mistake screws the whole question over, with part marks being super annoying to give because you'd have to try to follow their logic after the screwup which is real painful in a question like this. I refuse to believe any testmaker would put something like this on a makeup test for an eleventh grader.

I guess this is came from some university's entrance examination.
Japanese universities really prefer this kind of problem that seems hard to compute at a glance but once you notice the symmetry it becomes really straightforward.
