re·dun·dant
adjective
not or no longer needed or useful; superfluous.

Redundant
characterized by verbosity or unnecessary repetition in expressing ideas; prolix: a redundant style. 2. being in excess; exceeding what is usual or natural: a redundant part.

It seems that Konami feels that Museca is superfluous and no longer needed, and, as the context of my sentence implied, was unnecessarily repetitive of other games. So yes, I think I demonstrated understanding of the word "redundant" there. Why do you ask?

True Satanic rhythm games are games such as Pop'n music, Groove Coaster, IIDX and Taiko no Tatsujin. You can play your sdvx if you want to, but you will not understand true rhythm games at all. You are just a poser and can fuck off from the scene. IIDX is button mashing game, which isn't meant for animals like you, but for true satanic misanthropes, who dont care about clowns such as you. IIDX is the game of elites and you don't understand that. No one of you understands true satanism. You are laughable little children. Our worldview is based on qpro parts, raising dan level on personal level, finding harder songs on collective level. Without understanding of keysounds and wrist scratching, you can't imagine to understand the IIDX world. No one of you can understand IIDX, because you are like worms at intellectual level. You can't reach the elitistic kaiden level, so why even dream about it. IIDX is for elite. True misanthropes.

I need help remembering the name of a game I played last year at a convention. The Ui had a big circle and the notes starting in the center and came "up" and outward towards the circle. When the two overlapped, that's when you touched the screen. There were also held notes and I think it was supposed to emulate DJing. It wasn't too popular compared to the 15 Popn/IIDX machines but it was a lot of fun and I want to track it down again.

If you just "hit the keys however you feel you should" you will literally end up playing a playstyle that most people do, just taking longer to figure out how to do it.
Human hands can only configure themselves so many ways to comfortable hit 8 inputs.

Have you ever introduced someone new to IIDX and taught them the basics of the game?
One of the first questions people always ask is "how do i position my fingers?"

Good for you. Can you AAA 10s? How long did it take you to get to where you are? How many 12s do you have cleared?

That's not even relevant, faggot. This is about new players learning the game, and it's pretty commonly accepted that you'll learn the game faster if you learn a set playstyle from the get go.

They're gonna have to do it at some point anyway to some degree. It would be more beneficial to at least use one of the major playstyles as a baseline.
>or to just move their hand/finger and hit the one note per five seconds in any given 1/2 level chart?
Fair enough, at a low level like that playstyle wouldn't matter.

All I'm saying is that learning a good playstyle will help you learn the game faster and reduce the headache of having to readjust it when you get to a higher level. You're gonna have a bad time if you got used to not using your thumbs or doing something else that's not very good for playing.

Well if you can 98 mosaic spa I guess it's a fair assumption that you are better than random person here. But like even playing claw is better than no playstyle as that's a playstyle where you at least have your fingers assigned somewhat to keys.

The point is that better to use at least some playstyle, because you build muscle memory faster for that when you already know which finger to use for which key. It's essentially just a question of time consumption, you might get to the same point with no playstyle, but you will definitely be limiting yourself.

Idk though where you put the line for pretty good for hitting limitations, I think it's reasonable to think that already in 10s and 11s, which aren't very dense difficulties yet, you will start hitting limitations. And claw isn't that bad either, it's just essentially a worse version of symmetrical.

The non EX score is known as "money score" from the old 5key days, and is a holdover from that time when the game tried to pretend like you were earning money from playing the songs at a performance. It's computed by factoring combo string on top of each note having a certain fixed value (where 100% of all notes total to 200000 points).
It's slightly useful for a quick glance reference to know how good your play is without knowing what EX values to shoot for. At the end of a song, if you FCd it with at least 189K money score, you know you got the AAA. Most songs have a mid section break, and glancing down to see a money score at 120K or so (assuming the chart isn't too top loaded or end loaded) will tell you you're on the right track.

It's so hilarious to me to see people finally complaining about how the shite scoring system in osu prefers combo to accuracy. This is shit that I was complaining about 3 years ago. But alas, osu players are retarded and instead of asking for a new scoring system that encourages accuracy instead of retarded combos, they're now asking for touchscreen scores to just be banned and not actually show up on the rest of the scoreboards because they're "unfair".

Sasuga, osu.

Alright, so gentleman, I have a favor.
I’m a rave DJ, and I’m sick of hearing shitty monstercat music all of the time. I need good music from any genre you’d wanna hear at a rave that you can go hard to. My style explores the spectrum of music with as much exposure to the elements as possible. Basically I want my raves to be an experience.

Likewise, can anyone point me to more genre fused music like C-Show’s? That’s my main squeeze. I know he reuses assets in some songs, particularly Lite Show Magic stuff, but damn if it isn’t dope when he mixes it right.

Likewise I want to explore tpaz but 95% of his music is bland DUNDUNDUN. There are rare occasions like Magic Raffles, but it’s few and far between. I’d like to stay away from lolivocals if possible.

I’ve listened to a lot of USAO, and pretty much only like Dynamite and Boss Rush. Shandy music is a lotta house and future bass, which is alright.

Any recommendations would be helpful.
