Ok so /v/ will never help with this and i have no place to ask (google hasnt helped much), i figure this is more your turf /jp/ since it deals with jap games and patches.

Im trying to play Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu for Suupa Famicom. Ive got the patch and the japanese rom and a emulator. Normaly you just rename the patch and the rom the same name and run it. Ive tryed this on the 2 best emulators. The problem is that when it runs the text isnt translated its all jumbled up pixels and stuff. I ran the rom alone it runs fine in japanese.

So yeah this game is suposed to be the best in the series and the new DS one was a horrible let down. Anyone?

No, you have to use a correct IPS patcher.
Your problem may be from the rom anyway, try to remove the header.
And use google better. /jp/ is not the right place for this.
