Are these executives this out of touch? No one buys albums anymore. At best, an album is just advertising for the band, it creates exposure for the girls, so you capitalise and merchandise the heck out of them, which, I would argue, they have under utilised. As a dude who loves Yui with all his heart, I own no Baby Metal merchandise whatsoever. I want to purchase Yui relate things, but they've given me no options. I don't know what the solution is, or exactly what would sell to someone like me, but that's their job to determine that.
