I don't like dogs, period.
Though, I don't care for most animals, but being asked if I prefer cats or dogs then it would definitely be cats.

Cats at least tend to be quiet and don't jump on you like, well, a dog..
Some people seem to like the way dogs are "playful" and jump on you and lick you and react to every little fucking thing.
I find this interesting for about five seconds, then is annoying as piss when you realize that little shit is going to do this any and every time you do anything.

Cats may go into heat, but they only do that once in a while.
If you find a dog annoying though it will always be annoying.

But even worse ones are the little shits like my grandparents have.
It's a yappy little fucker that they only keep around because they're lonely or something I guess.
This is not their first dog.
I imagine they've had no less than ten before this one and every single one is one of those small yappy ones.

Cat person. I live in a small apartment on the top floor. Even though the guy in the next apartment owns a huge rottweiler, it's just not practical for me. Cats are low maintenance. They don't require you to go outside and they're a lot less likely to destroy shit.

I love dogs too, though. Especially that neighbor's rottweiler. And rats, turtles, ferrets, iguanas... all kinds of things. When I think about it I actually like most living things that aren't humans or spiders.

What? Dogs just bark, for the most part. Cats, on the other hand, hop over to you and claw you. Did you ever see a cat owner? Arms and legs will be covered in scars.

I own a cat with SHARP claws, and I don't have claw marks.

She never rakes them, but she does do a weird kneading thing when she's laying on my stomach.
It would hurt, but I have a massive pain tolerance.
So I just pick her claws off me and she doesn't do it.

Cats aren't as insistent as dogs. When you're sitting down somewhere, sure, a cat might jump up on you and unintentionally claw you a bit. But they never tackle you when you're standing up like a big excited dog does. Not that I mind that, I love that big happy rottweiler and he can lovingly assault me anytime.

And not really scars. Cuts, yes, but the only one that ever left a scar in my 23 years of living with no less than 5 cats at a time is a VERY faint one on my hand that I got from insisting on reaching into the cat house to pet a very disturbed cat. Actually, I can't even find it at all now. Maybe it finally faded.
