Since this is a melty blood thread, I have a question to ask.

Is there a way to assign a controller to a specific player instead of it automatically assigning controllers to the players as you run the launcher?

The thing is, I and 3 of my buddies want to play 2 vs 2 team battle but we only have 3 controllers (and 3 usb ports on my laptop anyway). We'd happily use the keyboard + 3 controllers for 2 vs 2 but we can't seem to set it. Any attempt to configure 4th pad just gives a controller not plugged in and there doesn't seem to be a way to turn off the pad for first player. Help?

Version is Melty Blood Act Cadenza 1.03b.

but it doesn't allow us to switch controllers to different players... I don't need a keyremapper, I need a way to make it so that the game doesn't automatically force the first controller to player 1 (forcing it to players 2-4 would work fine) or a way to switch input devices for other players.

Also, programs like xpadder and joy2key wouldn't work either because players 3 and 4 don't have any keyboard keys...
