Japanese Movie Posters

I'm going to dump a lot of Japanese movie posters I have saved. Some of them I ended up purchasing. Its going to take a few grand to frame them so I'm backing off on purchasing. There's a few more that I'll buy up before calling it good.

This thread can also be of Japanese movies that have alternative posters from other countries, but they must be featuring Japanese movies.

Famous Japanese character I guess based on a real historic figure. There's something like 8 movies of this guy and all seem to be supernatural related. Each movie received its own manga volume or vice versa. I believe the moves received manga because the movie posters were all the manga volumes covers.

There's not too many "Sasquatch" material out there native Japan. I would say the legend of such a yokai peaked and ended in the 50's. From "Half Human" to this movie and a few other odd ball films you won't even see many books on the this subject or yokai unlike the Japanese being fascinated with American big foot and the yeti in the himalayas.

Sonny Chiba punches the bear

Sonny chiba made the movie Sengoku Jieittei where the government would not permit the director to use their defense force tank, so the director had to assemble one himself with the cast and production team. This was such a popular subject in the news, almost as if the tank was celebrity in the cast, that several moves followed suit utilizing the tank as the main piece to plots of those movies.

You can see the tank in several movies as it was both a pop culture icon and such a rarity for Japanese civilians to be able to use a tank especially in Japan's post-war restrictions.

This was just released on blu-rey in the UK and North America.

It seemed to be pornographic, but there was no way of telling if the movie escalated into the paranormal with monsters from the trailer. It certainly looks so with the cover. I personally do not see myself purchasing or watching the movie. Its truly an early piece of the guro movement. I won't understand the directors or writers for movies like this. This is almost the counterpart to the famous "Hell in a bottle" film. Many professors in the U.S noted similar remarks of disturbing scenes involved in sexual scenes in 70's and 80's "thriller" films. The film industry is something to be weary of.
