I've never killed anyone. I do get in arguments sometimes with people who have viewpoints strongly opposing mine. That's usually a failure of mine to control my temper.

Really, though, the reason we fight as a species is because we are all different. We have different views, beliefs, experiences, etc. When we fail to coexist, negotiate or compromise, it leads to conflict.

Not necessarily. different people can coexist. They do. Otherwise society as a whole would not exist. The trick is to provide everyone with what they want and need. It is even possible to fulfill the needs of those who simply want to hurt others (see below). Fulfilling the needs of all is not easy goal to say the least, but possible.
