Possibly a witch or magician, like Marisa, or a fairy (queen, which was apparently the size of a human), an elf, which is similar to the touhou interpretation of a fairy.
A dwarf, a giant, or perhaps a troll.

Yyttawwa (there are many spellings).
Basically more warlike (but less cultured) Crow Tengu that are Native American tribe based instead of Asiatic Caste system based.
Some other anons may have heard variations of these legends, as most of the plains tribes had versions of them.
Specifically the Yyttawwa were viewed about comparably with how Japan viewed Oni.

For a final boss,
Yuthkatol, Mother Goddess of Nature and Life... which would be literally Yuuka, considering Yuthkatol's other name during a bad night was Kahst'hme Yucca, Goddess of Death and Blood.

>Most people in New Mexico have heard of La Llorona. She is usually described as a tall, slender lady, with dark hair, who is dressed in white. People have spotted the spectre of this mysterious, weeping woman by rivers and streams throughout New Mexico. There are many variations on her story. When you boil it down, the tales all center on a woman who, after being wronged by a man, drowns her own children. She is believed to lure children to water and then drown them. La Llorona is usually sighted near the Rio Grande.

It's actually not an urban legend and is an entirely provable fact, just entirely overblown in Korea.
'Fan Death' is actually hyperthermia caused by the fan exaggerating the evaporation of the body's sweat, disrupting the body's thermoregulation.
Ironically, it was US-based medical societies that discovered it in the first place, they just also found that most people wake up from overheating before the hyperthermia actually kills them - but in certain cases it's entirely reasonable that the fan could indirectly kill you.
So, yeah, not an urban legend, but rather just an overblown fact.

Hecatia and Clownpiece probably already fit, if you go by their supposed mythologic origin. Any Olympian god would work, too.

They would be maan haltija who are small gnome-like elves who protect your farm and bless your house with good luck if you treat them well. They are related to Santa's little helpers but are much more professional and honorable. If they dress fancy, you are lucky because your house is doing well. Female ones usually bless cattle while males bless horses. If they live together the whole farm is blessed.

Finnish creatures usually know very much magic in form of songs so they would probably attack Reimu & co by singing curses at them.

Pic probably related, there are some artists view on Elves of Sauna who may or may not be related to maan haltijas.

We've got a few different ones that could find their way as a touhou- Kelpies would probably fit in around the misty lake, all fun and games in the water before they drown you.

We've got elves.

Banshees might fit in around the road of liminality and that, drawing others to death.

Also I forgot to mention that maan haltijas are very, very territorial. If an evil creature wandered to your farm and tried to harm your belongings, they would defend it very strongly. They can also vary in size, some are as tall as humans and some are as tiny as mice.

And some of my guesses how they would look like:

They would probably wear work clothing from 19th century and have a distinguishable red cap. Probably a typical farm maiden's clothing. She would probably hang around a farm and attack protagonist to defend her house. Her projectiles would probably be shaped like notes or runes. Her spellcards would reference nature, other folk creatures, holy animals, national epic and historical events.

This thread actually got me researching some of my own culture's mythology.

Although Groke can be pretty scary and awesome, it's not a creature from folklore.

It seems a lot of cultures have creatures similar to this, little elves or spirits that help around the house.
