I think it was quite a solid game, the battle system is nice, fully voiced and the story is funny.

I just got the PC version of Higurashi Daybreak. It runs fine until a battle starts up, in which it freezes the image as soon as the number 3 is shown. You can still hear the battle going on though, and it stays that way after the match is over. Anything I can do to stop the game from freezing before I can even do anything?
