I drank myself sick a week or so ago, and now I can't think of alcohol without feeling sick. I hope this wears off soon, as alcohol is the only pleasure in my dreary existence of minimum wage cashier-slaving and boring class-taking.

Maybe a good mixed drink where I can barely taste the alcohol would help. What does /jp/ recommend for mixed drinks? I usually just drink rum or vodka straight, so I don't know much about them.

Anyhow, alcohol is great social lubricant, but I really do not like to get drunk in the company because it's very obnoxious. If I feel like drink, I'll rather enjoy it alone than embarrass myself publicly.

There is nothing wrong with having a few drinks by yourself. I find the taste of the alcohol amplified by my enjoyment of the company I keep, and as I prefer myself over everyone else, naturally alcohol would taste the best when I'm alone.

There's something to be said about just relaxing on a quiet evening with hot sake, or some warmed up Kahlua with milk in it.

Actually, it's pretty good. I drink for the taste. Get yourself a good rum (doesn't have to be expensive - Mount Gay is both cheap and good), and put it in a glass with some ice. Sip it, and let the rum rest on your palate, don't swallow it immediately. After you've savored the flavors of the rum, swallow quickly so that it doesn't rest on the back of your tongue for too long because that's where it burns.

The method of drinking that works for whiskey would not work for vodka...or something. As long as you don't gulp all of it in one go you're probably fine.

I find drinking by myself cheaper, going out with friends to a bar is much more fucking expensive.

Ive tried sapporo draft and asahi super dry so far, both taste great, nice and sweet(i have a sweet tooth).
