Hey /jp/
Personal question, feel free to answer as you will.
What is your single happiness in this world? Many of us are unfortunate or our luck rotten, but no matter how bitter we are, isn't there something you find still makes you smile no matter what?

Yeah, I'll download those too.
I'll watch everything I can.
I'll listen to every little melody I can.
I'll read up everything about her.
I'll model her in 3D.
I'll try my hand at making her sing.
I'll look at the Miku figurine that's standing in front of me until I fall asleep in a few hours.
I'll take her hand in marriage when 2D can really be my waifu. If I am denied that then I will weep but continue to support her.
I'll pray that I'll be led to a place where Miku exists when 2010 comes around.
I'll support robotic / intelligent life if the above fails to take us all out, with my dead end job money just to bring her to reality.
And if each and everyone one of them end up failed productions, I will love them with everything I have.
Because I know this smile is worth it all and everything I do will be nothing more than a small debt paid compared to the happiness she's given me.

TL;DR
Yes, that's right.

Regrettably, there is no such thing as unconditional love except in conceptualization...
As nice it may would be (seem to be?), love, especially romantic love, is almost by definition supported by a huge network of conditions.

If, lets say, by some magic, you managed to find a girl who did love you unconditionally, you would find that conditions still existed, and that you, in fact, were enforcing them (by succumbing to a girl who loved you unconditionally; if unfavorable conditions arose, you would reconsider the situation)

Also, OP's question: Psycroptic.

How does that work? Like renting a slut?

How about you think about it this way: love is always unconditional, but you'd have to be stupid to go by that alone without planning for the future.

Unconditional love sucks.

The ideal condition on love is that "it's you".

Otherwise she's gonna be a slut. Unconditional means everyone, remember.

>> No.1717783

>>1717760
No, love is always conditional, just that the conditions are never made 100% clear. If you loved a girl, and she turned into the most vile and disgusting creature imaginable, would you still love her? If you said yes, you would either be deluding yourself or lying, and since it's always a condition for your love that she doesn't turn into a vile and disgusting creature, it isn't conditional.

>If, lets say, by some magic, you managed to find a girl who did love you unconditionally, you would find that conditions still existed, and that you, in fact, were enforcing them (by succumbing to a girl who loved you unconditionally; if unfavorable conditions arose, you would reconsider the situation)

What defines love as unconditional is not the conditions required for love to exist, but the conditions you impose yourself to love or be loved by others.

Why do you think it's so hard to say you love someone? Because we expect to be loved back. Because the idea of loving someone who doesn't love us back troubles us, even hurts us. We'd rather see the ones we love unhappy with us than happy with someone else. We'd rather share unhappiness together than accept the idea that loving someone suffices by itself to make our lives happier.

The greek had three different words to describe love: eros, philia and agape. Eros is the love that imposes the possession of the other person as condition to exist. Philia is the love that imposes the happiness of the other person as condition to exist, and would be the closest we have to unconditional love.

Agape is unconditional love in its purest form, and unattainable by us mere mortal fools. Most will live their entire lives without getting even close to Agape.
