What does /jp/ think about reading VNs on phones?

I ask because Im in a dillemma on how to read steins gate. IOS version is $25, vita version is $20 and I can get if for free anywhere online for Windows. I like the concept of being able to read it anywhere but that fucking price though. What's /jp/'s experience with reading VNs on the go? Is it worth $25?

Just hack your Vita like a sane person.

I prefer vita when available, I find I actually read VN's a lot more when I don't have to sit in m computer chair the whole time

Unless there's cut content

Can't think of a situation where I'd rather read on the go than at home. Public transit is too loud and uncomfortable, and work is work. Just use your computer like a normal person.

Even if you hack vita, you can't pirate vita games and run them on your vita, the maximum you can do is run psp version of s;g, and saying from experience, as I had my vita hacked before, psp games look fugly on vita. I decided the hack is not worth anything and just upgraded to the latest firmware. Now I'm happy playing the official s;g and s;g 0 on my vita.
