Where does anon get their posters? I've been shopping around and can't seem to find any place with a good collection. Any pointers?

Stop.

By posters I mean: Posters, Wall scrolls, anything to make these bland white walls more colorful...

excuse my expression. I didn't feel like typing "i've been scouring the vastness of the the internet for online shops or services" but if you insist...

>> No.1699214

is it that most people print their own these days, people buy mainly at cons or any other reason 'big' internet stores carry lots of merchandise but rarely posters? It seems they just vanished off of the digital face of the web, on the other hand maybe i'm just not stumbling across the right sites.

Thus i turn to /jp/

If you can find pictures above 2000px wide/tall you can make some pretty decent prints at Kinko's. I get mine printed on 11x17 glossy and trim the excess if I want full-bleed.

Kinko's oversaturates the colors a bit but it only costs $4.

Looking for things like Sayonara Zetsubō Sensei stuff.. touhou scrolls, etc

>> No.1699302

Only 4? That sounds pretty reasonable. I guess I could do some compensation for the colors, too that way I could print my fav pics rather than buying set stuff. Still open to a good poster store, tho.

Thanks anon, seems it turned out pretty well

1) Go to moe.imouto.org

I split a large version of this image into 2 parts, printed them into two A3 pages on a laser printer and it looks fine as a poster.

More like
1. Go to moe.imouto.org
2. Find high res image
3. Go to print shop
4. Go back in fear of being laughed and pointed at by the staff
5. No profit

Thank you kind sir! That's incredibly useful.
Pic related it's now on my to-print list. Although
I'm sure I'll find much better touhou/aria ones.

Get megami magazine. It comes out monthly and has got shitloads of posters of all the latest animu.

There are about 15 double-sided A3 posters (different poster on each side) and one A2 double-sided poster.

Yeah, I cut out shit from random magazines...I even cut off calendar images after I'm done with them, they make great posters. I have a huge rotating collection of "posters" after a few years of collecting from calendars.

Problem with Megami and all its related kin is that they only have fanservice posters. I don't want fucking fanservice, I hate that shit. I want posters that actually GOOD.

>> No.1701467

I have the ARIA Posterbook III, which I got from yes-asia.com about a year ago. Posterbooks are a damn good source of excellent A3 posters, provided you can actually get one before the sell out.
