That guide is awesome.
My main limitation in the game is just wanting to get a general idea of what I need to do. I don't need an OCD level gamefaqs 500kb walkthrough, but just a "Okay, now go back to town. You need to talk to X, talk to Y, you can get a special item that does Z in a cabinet in the third house. They want you to go to a tower because blah happened and you need to do yadayada in order to fix it."

Yeah, there's a short walkthrough like that on a Japanese wiki. Basically just the parts in between dungeons. That's what I was talking about; no way I could remember what to do when right now.
