Hey, /jp/.

What's the matter with you lately? Two of my previous threads have been hijacked, one of them has been deleted because someone posted unpleasant pictures in it.
I ask you once again to leave my Aya-sama threads alone if you are not one of her fans.

That being said, I'm sure you enjoy this (hopefully) quiet and peaceful Aya-sama thread. ♥

you set yourself up for another disappointment with that opening statement.

The day Dedicated Hirano Aya-sama Fan will stop making threads is the day /jp/ will die. The Yukkuri novelty will wear out eventually, with any luck sooner than expected; H!P threads will turn so boring and lackluster to turn away the few remaining followers; but I'm confident that Dedicated Hirano Aya-sama Fan will be still there, ready to make yet another thread in Aya's honor.

Yeah that's true, but her blog is just so mind-numbingly dull I can see why he never talks about it (other than posting it's pics).

There are four engineers travelling in a car -- a mechanical engineer, a chemical engineer, an electrical engineer, and a computer scientist. The car breaks down.

"Sounds to me as if the pistons have seized. We'll have to strip
down the engine before we can get the car working again", says the mechanical engineer.

"Well", says the chemical engineer, "it sounded to me as if the fuel might be contaminated. I think we should clear out the fuel system."

"I thought it might be an grounding problem", says the electrical engineer, "or maybe a faulty plug lead."

They all turn to the computer scientist, who up to then had reading his first edition SICP, and asked "Well, what do you think?"

"..."

"Ahem, Dr. Sussman?"

"Why am I reading this book?"

"Uh, I don't know?"

"So that the room will be empty."

"Wait a second, we aren't in a r... !"

And at that time the three engineers were Enlightened.

"I put on my wizard robe and hat. My other car is a cdr." The computer scientist pulls out a cudder from his pocket, and shoves it down the throats of the engineers. "Take that, motherfuckers!!!!"

HI, I AM G.J. SUSSMAN, FOUNDER AND CEO OF SICP. WHILE LAMENTING OVER THE LACK OF FORCED INDENTATION IN SCHEME LAST NIGHT, YOUR MOTHER CALLED ME AND ASKED ME IF I WOULD BE SO KIND AS TO HELP HER WITH A SICP EXERCISE; BEING THE FINE GENTLEMAN THAT I AM, I PUT ON MY DAPPER WIZARD HAT AND ROBE AND WENT OVER TO HER HOUSE. ROGUISHLY SNEAKING THROUGH THE BACK DOOR I KNOCKED HER OUT WITH A CUDDER AND TORE THE GARMENTS OFF HER RIPE BODY. HER FULL BREASTS AROUSED ME TO THE DEGREE THAT MY EVALUATOR STOOD STRAIGHT IN THE TIME IT TAKES TO DO A LAZY COMPUTATION. NOT BEING ABLE TO CONTAIN MYSELF, I SHOVED MY RIGHTEOUS SUSSBOY IN THE MANHOLE OF THE FINE LASS. IT WAS OBVIOUSLY NOT DESIGNED FOR A MAN OF MY OBSCENE GIRTH, AND SHE WOKE UP FROM THE PAIN. NOT CARING ABOUT ANYTHING BUT MY MANLINESS, I CONTINUED THRUSTING AS SHE FAINTED AGAIN FROM THE AGONIZING TORTURE OF THE TRIPEDAL CREATURE LOOMING OVER HER. IN A MINUTE I WAS ABOUT TO EXPLODE WITH THE FORCE OF SEVERAL ANGRY SUPERNOVAS IN A SACK, . THE FLOOD CAME, AND LIKE MOSES I CLEAVED HER IN HALF FROM THE SHOCK. NOT STOPPING, I SHOVED THE HOSE IN HER EYE SOCKET AND LET THE REST OF THE SAUCE ENTER HER SKULL. AFTER THAT I WENT HOME AND READ SICP UNTIL I FELL ASLEEP. I GUARANTEE IT.

I like Konata because she is a otaku like me, except she has friends. Oh god I wish I had friends too ;_;

Konata also likes videogames and she is kawaii. And there are lesbians in the show and that's good because I like lesbians and I will never have a girlfriend. Why am I such a loser?!

Konata is like my dreamgirl she has a :3 face I love that. She is also nice why aren't real girls nice!? I got dumped a lot of times but I love konata and she wouldn't dump me because she's so nice and cool.

We would play videogames all day and watch Naruto and other cool animes on TV, and I would have sex with her because sex is so good. I wish I could have sex with a girl.

Dinosaurs are one of the coolest things from my childhood, and I remember all the dinos-- MOTHERFUCKING DINOSAURS, HOW THE FUCK DO YOU THINK I FEEL ABOUT THEM? MOTHERFUCKER, I WANT A CUTE LITTLE VELOCIRAPTOR AS A PET, TO CUDDLE UP WITH HIS FEATHERS AND EVERYTHING. I DON'T MEAN A JURASSIC PARK VELOCIRAPTOR EITHER, THAT'S A DIENONYCHUS, I'M TALKING ABOUT A REAL VELOCIRAPTOR. ABOUT THE SIZE OF A CAT, AND IT'S A PACK ANIMAL, SO IT WOULD BE LIKE HAVING A TWO LEGGED DOG COVERED IN FEATHERS. I'D TOTALLY NAME HIM SOMETHING AWESOME, LIKE NATHANIEL OR SOMETHING, AND I'D CARRY HIM AROUND WITH ME, AND MAYBE TEACH HIM TO STAND ON MY SHOULDER, AND ALL THE GIRLS WOULD BE ALL OVER IT, THEY'D BE "OH, ENGARDE, THAT'S A CUTE LITTLE RAPTOR YOU'VE GOT THERE, CAN I PET HIM?" AND I'D BE LIKE, "WELL, SURE YOU CAN, NATHANIEL LIKES BEAUTIFUL WOMEN." AND THEN SHE'D BE ALL BLUSHY, AND WE'D START A MEANINGFUL CONVERSATION ABOUT RAPTORS, BECAUSE WOMEN LOVE DINOSAURS.
I'D HAVE NATHANIEL SIT ON MY DESK AND KEEP ME COMPANY ALL DAY.

We've got to get rid of the Sepples hive.

I was taught assembler
in my second year of school.
It's kinda like construction work --
with a toothpick for a tool.
So when I made my senior year,
I threw my code away,
And learned the way to program
that I still prefer today.
Now, some folks on the Internet
put their faith in C++.
They swear that it's so powerful,
it's what God used for us.
And maybe it lets mortals dredge
their objects from the C.
But I think that explains
why only God can make a tree.
For God wrote in Lisp code
When he filled the leaves with green.
The fractal flowers and recursive roots:
The most lovely hack I've seen.
And when I ponder snowflakes,
never finding two the same,
I know God likes a language
with its own four-letter name.
Now, I've used a SUN under Unix,
so I've seen what C can hold.
I've surfed for Perls, found what Fortran's for,
Got that Java stuff down cold.
Though the chance that I'd write COBOL code

Our Sussman, which art in nirvana,
hallowed be thy name;
thy language come;
thy will be done,
in implementation as it is in specification.
Give us this day our daily Lisp.
And forgive us our bugs,
as we forgive them that crash our computers.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from enterprise quality.
For thine is the language,

For ever and ever.

On one stormy night, the sky bright with thunder
knock knock at the door - who is that, I ponder
I dash to the gate, open it, I sunder
'tis a filthy snake, at my mat, down under!
I speak carefully, not to make a blunder:

``who be thee, thou spawn of evil?
beast from before medieval
serpent! the tempter primeval!''
-- in my soul a great upheaval
``demon! how come you were tapping?
at my door so gently rapping?
limbless, cursed to move by wrapping!''

The slimy beast hissed, and so before my eyes
I beheld a man - in appearance so wise
I recognised him, now without the disguise
My throat unleashing so desperate cries:

``Infidel! Once a great wizard,
now a slimy tricky lizard
stealing through the flames and blizzard
what be thy business, ex-wizard?''

Thus he spake, the voice bestowed:
``son, you walk the evil road
all what I have you once shown
all what you thanks to me own
now shall within you explode
and have I so forebode:
not through Scheme does point the road
in my mind had always flowed:
FORCED INDENTATION OF CODE''

Well anyways there was an insane number of people there, and I couldn't get in.
Then, I looked at the banner hanging from the ceiling, and it had "150 yen off" written on it.
Oh, the stupidity. Those idiots.
You, don't come to Yoshinoya just because it's 150 yen off, fool.
It's only 150 yen, 1-5-0 YEN for crying out loud.
There're even entire families here. Family of 4, all out for some Yoshinoya, huh? How fucking nice.
"Alright, daddy's gonna order the extra-large." God I can't bear to watch.
You people, I'll give you 150 yen if you get out of those seats.

The short, bearded figure stood on the stage, gesturing furiously as he declaimed on the evils of the RIAA and occasionally pacing around a bit.

"Richard, you've changed," murmured the balding, nondescript-looking man in the audience to himself.

After the talk, the bearded man strolled up the stairs, unconcerned by the train of scruffy-looking undergraduates following after. He was headed for the cookie table. As he began to shovel handfuls of madeleines and pecan brownies into his mouth, the bald, mustachioed man approached.

"Eric," the bearded man gasped, nearly dropping a handful of shortbread cookies (but not quite.)

"Richard," the bald man said firmly.

"What brings you here?" asked the bearded man. The undergraduates merely stared wide-eyed, knowing something special was happening, but not knowing quite what. At least, the ones who weren't also going for the cookie table.

"Well, Richard, you'll remember how we knew each other, seven years before you started the GNU project," said Eric.

"Yes..." Richard began to say, when he was interrupted by a particularly young-looking undergraduate.

"In the biblical sense?" taunted the undergraduate, as she adjusted her baseball cap and pulled on her red hair.

There was silence.

"Yes, young ladies and gentlemen, in the biblical sense," said Eric.

"I think we need to go upstairs, to my office," said Richard.

>> No.1677285

"But you don't have an office here."

"Oh, I'm sorry, I mean the office of the faculty member who sponsored my talk here, Professor mumble mumble," Richard said, as the last words of his sentence were obscured by a mouthful of fudge wafers.

"Okay."

Together, they headed for the elevator as the crowd of undergraduates, graduate students, and administrators who had gathered (no faculty members, since they wouldn't have wanted to be seen at a gathering where students would be present) gaped speechlessly. They got off at the seventh floor and Richard directed them towards a corner office.

"Don't worry, Professor mumble mumble won't be here for the rest of the afternoon," said Richard, who still had managed to make those fudge wafers last for four floors.

As they settled at opposite ends of the black leather couch that occupied a small portion of the office, Eric looked at Richard.

"You looked better with short hair," he said.

"Well, you looked better before you gained that 30 pounds," said Richard.

"It's all muscle," he said, and they both laughed. Then they were silent.

Eric broke the silence. "Open-source software, free software, why did we let such distinctions of terminology divide us so? Linux has been such a huge success and we've both contributed to that. We have more similarities than differences."

"That's GNU/Linux, Eric, and you ought to know why as well as anybody. Why, the Linux operating system would be completely nonfunctional without the many software utilities contributed by volunteers for the GNU project, including--"

"Richard, Richard. You're not talking to a journalist. You're talking to me. The only man you ever loved."

>> No.1677288

Eric's arm extended across the back of the couch. Richard inched ever so slightly closer.

"Well, you have no idea what it's like to live alone in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with only my four honorary doctorates to keep me company while you and your open-source friends get all the glory. It's just so hard, Eric."

Eric's eyes sparkled, "Just so hard, eh?"

Richard squirmed. "Well..."

"It's been so long."

"Well, yes, that is how I remembered it..."

"So, you said that Professor cough cough wasn't going to be back this afternoon, right? Because if you wanted to, we could go find a place to stay for the evening..." (The professor's name was once again obscured when Eric had a brief dryness in his throat.)

"No, let's just make good use of the place we have for now. It's free, after all."

"Free as in freedom?"

"No, free as in love."

They embraced. Richard's shirt came off, knocking loose the halo made from a disk platter that was still attached to his head. Before too long, the two men's back hair became an indistinguishable thatch of dark curls as Eric's cathedral entered Richard's bazaar.

"Sometimes being open to the point of promiscuity can have its advantages," breathed Richard.

>> No.1677291

"And you know I've always believed that there were some situations where tight control over the development process was necessary," sighed Eric.

Afterward, they lay together on the couch as the afternoon sun shone on them, stroking each other's beards. "You're even better now that you have a Jesus complex," said Eric.

"You certainly seemed to think that it wasn't just a complex!"

"That was five minutes ago, this is now."

"Oh." They cuddled some more. "I guess we'll always have the AI Lab."

"So, I have a date later on to play the recorder for some birds. Would you like to... come along?"

"Whenever I hear about you doing that kind of thing, I reach for my gun," said Eric.

"Ha ha!" they both laughed.

"Actually, I wasn't kidding."

I had a strange dream the other day. I was riding the bus when all of a sudden this huge black snake head with retarded-looking eyes pops through the window and screams loudly "HAVE YOU READ YOUR SICP TODAY?" The bus had just stopped beside the library, and I ran inside as quickly as possible; the snake head was now chasing me around as I frantically searched for the legendary book among the shelves. I spotted the distinctive blue cover and ran toward it, the huge head inches from my ass. With great force I pulled the book from the shelf and instinctively directed it at the black head which by now was dripping with saliva at the mouth. It disappeared as it made contact with the book, disintegrating into a flurry of glowing parentheses.

I just sat there dazed for a few seconds, watching the feathery parehtneses slowly become smaller and fade away into nothingness. Slowly, I stood up, still clutching the purple book. I wondered about what I should do with it, then decided to put it back on the shelf. After doing so, I walked back out to the exit and boarded a bus, for where I did not know. The bus driver looked strangely familiar as I dropped the coins into the farebox;

"HAVE YOU READ YOUR SICP TODAY?" he suddenly yelled at me. Oh fuck, I thought to myself. Now I knew why he looked so familiar: He was The Sussman!

>> No.1677303

"Umm... no," I responded weakly. Suddenly his head looked a lot darker than it was a moment ago, and an evil grin appeared across his face. The bus's doors slammed shut and The Sussman's face turned an almost negroid black. His left hand shot at me and I could see that it was not a hand, but the head of a snake which protruded from its end. I turned around and ran towards the back of the articulated bus.
"Let me show you the power of Satori," The Sussman said in a deep hiss. His snakelike arm extended from his body towards me as I continued to run for what seemed like eternity towards the longbus's rear door.

"Longbus is loooooooooooooooooooooong", I thought to myself as I continued to run, the snake's head fast approaching. The bus seemed to go on forever. After a while, I passed the driver's seat. WTF, I thought. Ahead of me was The Sussman, standing in the aisle facing the same direction as me, with his left arm pointed forward.

>> No.1677308

I looked behind me, and saw the snake head was still approaching; I had managed to outrun it for a bit, and it was racing towards me. RECURSION! I jumped into the stepwell just as the head gained a sudden burst of speed, piercing through The Sussman and sending bright glowing parentheses everywhere. I watched first his body, then his hands disintegrate in the same manner that the head had earlier. The long black arm, floating in mid-air, slowly disappeared into a cloud of these glowing parentheses, and the snake's head, which I now noticed had come through the windscreen along with me, did the same after a few moments.

I stepped over to the driver's seat, looking for the door release switch. I found what appeared to be the switch and toggled it, but the doors did not open. Shortly after, a low hissing sound emanated from the bus itself, followed by the loud booming cry of "HAVE YOU READ YOUR SICP TODAY?", which felt as if it was coming from inside my head. Suddenly everything turned black.

I awoke to find myself still inside that mysterious bus, which was completely empty. The engine was still running, and it was still parked outside the library. "The library! Of course!" I thought to myself. As if my mind had been read, the front doors swung open and I ran from the bus toward the library, which also looked empty. I entered the building and frantically ran to where I had found the prized book earlier. The book was still there, and I grabbed it instinctively, then walked to the checkout. All but one counter was open, and there was a little Asian girl standing there; the place was deserted except for me and her. I put the book on the counter and she looked at it for a moment, then at me. "Have you read your SICP today?" she asked.

>> No.1677311

"You too?" I replied. "Have some tits and then GTFO and read your SICP!", she angrily shouted, then pulled up her shirt to show me her tits. She shoved the book into my hands and then disappeared spontaneously.

I left the library, and waited at the bus stop. The previous bus was no longer there. The girl I saw earlier walked up to me and looked at the Wizard Book I was holding, then glanced down at my crotch.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING STANDING THERE LIKE AN IDIOT? READ IT!" she suddenly shouted. Astounded, I quickly opened the book and started to read the first chapter. I was so intrigued by the book that I didn't notice she had begun to give me a blowjob. When I looked down, she took her mouth from my cock to angrily shout "GO BACK TO READING YOUR SICP" and so I did. I didn't even notice that I came until after she told me to stop reading. A short while later, the bus arrived.

Now that's a photo of Aya which I can and will bring myself to like. For once she's actually shown outside posing leisurely and not inside some cramped dressing room. And she actually looks kinda cute at that.

Ok, I have a story to tell. Enough time has passed that I think it's safe to tell now. My name is
Jack and I am 34 years old. This past June, i began using Stickam. I happened upon the profile of a
hot 13 year old girl. I started chatting with her but of course I lied about my age. I told her I
was only 23. I lied about having a cam, too, for obvious reasons. One night, some guy came in her
room and I tried to play "good cop" and I messaged her that he was over 30. She informed me that
she thought guys over 30 were hot! Well, you can imagine my shock and relief!
A few days later, I confessed to her my real age and that I did have a cam. She was excited to
learn this as she kinda was starting to like me. Thus began a relationship that made my fantasies
come true!

We started having cam sessions on a regular basis. This kids body was just...omigod! Small, perfect
tits. Hairless pussy. Heaven on Earth. She would shlick for me and when she came, the sounds she
made were AMAZING! If she happened to be alone at home, she would just let it all out and get off
hard. She would watch me fapping and just drool. Even though she was a virgin, she was ready for
action!
Anyway, our relationship grew to where we were talking to each other on the phone late at night and
making plans to meet somehow. She lives in Vegas so it would be easy for me to go there for a
vacation and hook up with her. And that's just what happened.
I flew in on a Friday morning and got settled into my hotel room. Then I sent her an IM on AIM
letting her know where I was staying and told her I would make arrangements for her to come see me.
The plan was simple: I would hire a taxi to pick her up a few blocks from her house and drive her
to the hotel. She had told her folks that she was spending the weekend camping with friends and I
guess they believed her. That afternoon, the taxi picked her up and brought her to the hotel. She
phoned me to tell me she was almost there. I asked her if the cab's license plate said FRESH and it
had dice on the mirror.
She laughed and said that it didn't. Anyway, earlier that day, i had gone out shopping to prepare
for the weekend. A teddy bear, some sexy clothes, roses and candles were all set up in the bedroom
of the hotel suite. Champagne was chilling in the ice bucket. A few minutes after her call from the
cab, a soft knock came on my door. For a few seconds, I had visions of Chris Hansen and several
members of the Party Van on the other side of that door.
However, one peek thru the peephole was enough to assuage my fears. My dearest /b/, seeing her
standing in the corridor thru that fish-eye lens was amazing, because I knew that with the turn of
a knob, my dream of having child sex would come true. I opened the door and 98 pounds of lust
filled teenager thrust itself into my embrace. We hugged for what seemed like days then moved into
the living room. We sat on the sofa and just looked into each others eyes for several seconds.
Finally, I snapped to and poured some bubbly for us.

>> No.1679834,3 [INTERNAL]

This kid was no stranger to booze, but she had never experienced champagne before. She actually
giggled at the way the bubbles tickled her nose, which i thought was cute as hell. I drew her to me
and started to make out with her. How I kept from nutting in my pants is beyond me! Her fuckin tits
were...amazing...it's the only word I can think of. She put her hand on my throbbing crotch bulge
and squeezed. I shit you not /b/, the girl MOANED as she did it. I think she might have had an
orgasm, but she didn't admit to it when I asked her later

After some more groping and fondling, I stood and took her hand and led her to the bedroom. "Oh
Jack," she said, "I have wanted this for so long." I laughed because she had wanted it for about 6
weeks, but to a 13 year old, that is an eternity. She took in the flickering glow of the candles,
the roses, and the teddy bear in the middle of the bed. She climbed up to get it and I joined her.
We began to kiss and grope one another. I lay her back and slowly undressed her, peeling her
clothing away and kissing each inch of tender teen flesh I uncovered. As I licked and sucked on her
nipples, small moans escaped her lips. I kissed my way down her belly and undid her jeans. When I
saw that tiny twat come into view, my cock lurched in my pants.

Even though I had seen her naked hundreds of times on that webcam, the reality of it was enough to
almost me shock me. The folds of her pussy glistened in the warm glow of the candles. Her clit was
engorged and actually sticking out a little. Now I have seen pussy up close, I mean, I wasn't a
virgin going into this thing after all, but this one was different. It hadn't finished developing.
Of course, that was the whole idea, you know? But I digress, I needed to know what nearly pre-teen
pussy TASTED like! (BTW, it smelled AWESOME!)

Wait...what? OP here, btw. This happened, as I alluded to, in August. She spent the entire weekend
with me! We never left the suite the whole time. I was utterly fucked out by Sunday night, and the
poor girl could hardly walk, but she couldn't stop smiling... anyway, story continues in a minute...

I spread her thighs and started licking her stiff clit, sucking her juices. Feeling a little
playful, I reached over to the bedside table and grabbed one of the flickering tapers from the
holder. I held it over her chest and grinned. She said, "Won't it burn?" Meaning the hot wax I was
about to drip on her tits. I assured her that it wiould actually feel really good and showed her.
MY GOD the reaction was incredible! That kids hips bucked so hard as a hueg orgasm tore thru her.
She nearly knocked me off the bed! I dripped some more wax on her clit and she screamed, but not in
pain. I couldn't believe the effect this was having on her! Gutturally, like some kind of animal,
she commanded me to do something that shocked me. She said, "Fuck me with it! Fuck me with that
candle, Jack!" Who was I to refuse such an order? I blew it out and slid in to her soaking wet pu-

MASO
A new language for modern computing.

I'm going to start off with some core features and their justifications:

1) ALL IDENTIFIERS MUST BE AT LEAST 20 CHARACTERS
Now that even consumer computers have gigabytes of memory, there is no justification for short identifiers. Everyone knows that code is only written once but read many times, so this rule eliminates confusing variable names like 'i' and 'x'.

2) EVERY LINE MUST HAVE A COMMENT
Self-explanatory.

3) EACH COMMENT MUST BE AT LEAST 30 CHARACTERS AND END WITH A PERIOD
This is to discourage programmers from circumventing rule (2) by making comments that only contain, say, a space.

4) EVERYTHING IS AN OBJECT
Unlike, say, C++, there a no 'primitive' types. This simplifies container classes, eliminates issues with boxing, etc.

5) EVERY OBJECT IS A DICTIONARY
Similar to Javascript and Lua, this simplifies the language implementation and provides run-time flexibility.

6) EVERY OBJECT DICTIONARY IS AN XML STRING
People already know XML and may already have editors that support XML. Performance might be a little worse, but performance matters for only around 10% of any given program and, as we all know, that part is written in C++ anyway, right?

7) ALL BINARY OPERATOR EXPRESSIONS MUST HAVE PARENTHESES
Should (a ^ b << c) be interpreted as ((a ^ b) << c) or (a ^ (b << c))? Just a few extra parentheses eliminate operator precedence mistakes.

8) THERE IS NO EQUALITY TEST OPERATOR
Rather than have confusion between '=', '==', ':=", etc, the equality test operator ('==' in C) is eliminated. If you want to see if A and B are equal, check if (!(A < B) && !(A > B)).

9) ALL OBJECTS MUST SUPPORT THE '<' AND '>' OPERATORS.
This is because of rule (8). Because operator overloading can be misused, overloading any other operators is prohibited.

10) ARRAYS ARE ONE BASED
Non-programmers might be involved in the production process and they are used to arrays that start at one. See Lua for additional reasons why this is a good idea.

>> No.1679834,10 [INTERNAL]

--------------------
Operators and syntax
--------------------

1) OPERATORS
+, -, *, /, ^, and, or, not
note: to make the language more orthogonal, 'not' is a binary operator

2) FLOW CONTROL
if else, while, sometimes, don't
note: something in a sometimes block will happen some times and not others
note: something in a don't block will never happen, even if the same statements
appear elsewhere outside of a don't block

3) OTHER KEYWORDS
new, delete, start, kill, injure, maim

4) FUNCTIONS (in BNFFF form)
(return value) (function name) { (statements) }

5) BLOCKS
There some controversy in the programming language community about significant whitespace. In MASO a compromise is reached: blocks must begin with a '{', but afterwords use significant whitespace (no '}' is needed).

6) STATEMENTS
Statements end with a '.', or a '?' or '!'. If they end with a '?' or '!' they can be referred to as "questions" or "exclamations".

--------------------
Example code
--------------------

#include <stdio.h>

main() {
  printf("Hello world!\n");
}

If you pay close attention to your son's reading habits, as I do, you will be able to determine a great deal about his opinions and hobbies. Children are at their most impressionable in the teenage years. Any father who has had a seventeen year old daughter attempt to sneak out on a date wearing make up and perfume is well aware of the effect that improper influences can have on inexperienced minds.
There are, unfortunately, many hacking manuals available in bookshops today. A few titles to be on the lookout for are: "Snow Crash" and "Cryptonomicon" by Neal Stephenson; "Neuromancer" by William Gibson; "Programming with Perl" by Timothy O'Reilly; "Geeks" by Jon Katz; "The Hacker Crackdown" by Bruce Sterling; "Microserfs" by Douglas Coupland; "Hackers" by Steven Levy; and "The Cathedral and the Bazaar" by Eric S. Raymond.
If you find any of these hacking manuals in your child's possession, confiscate them immediately. You should also petition local booksellers to remove these titles from their shelves. You may meet with some resistance at first, but even booksellers have to bow to community pressure.

5. How much time does your child spend using the computer each day?
If your son spends more than thirty minutes each day on the computer, he may be using it to DOS other peoples sites. DOSing involves gaining access to the "command prompt" on other people's machines, and using it to tie up vital internet services. This can take up to eight hours. If your son is doing this, he is breaking the law, and you should stop him immediately. The safest policy is to limit your children's access to the computer to a maximum of forty-five minutes each day.

6. Does your son use Quake?
Quake is an online virtual reality used by hackers. It is a popular meeting place and training ground, where they discuss hacking and train in the use of various firearms. Many hackers develop anti-social tendencies due to the use of this virtual world, and it may cause erratic behaviour at home and at school.
If your son is using Quake, you should make hime understand that this is not acceptable to you. You should ensure all the firearms in your house are carefully locked away, and have trigger locks installed. You should also bring your concerns to the attention of his school.

>> No.1679834,12 [INTERNAL]

7. Is your son becoming argumentative and surly in his social behaviour?
As a child enters the electronic world of hacking, he may become disaffected with the real world. He may lose the ability to control his actions, or judge the rightness or wrongness of a course of behaviour. This will manifest itself soonest in the way he treats others. Those whom he disagrees with will be met with scorn, bitterness, and even foul language. He may utter threats of violence of a real or electronic nature.
Even when confronted, your son will probably find it difficult to talk about this problem to you. He will probably claim that there is no problem, and that you are imagining things. He may tell you that it is you who has the problem, and you should "back off" and "stop smothering him." Do not allow yourself to be deceived. You are the only chance your son has, even if he doesn't understand the situation he is in. Keep trying to get through to him, no matter how much he retreats into himself.

8. Is your son obsessed with "Lunix"?
BSD, Lunix, Debian and Mandrake are all versions of an illegal hacker operation system, invented by a Soviet computer hacker named Linyos Torovoltos, before the Russians lost the Cold War. It is based on a program called "xenix", which was written by Microsoft for the US government. These programs are used by hackers to break into other people's computer systems to steal credit card numbers. They may also be used to break into people's stereos to steal their music, using the "mp3" program. Torovoltos is a notorious hacker, responsible for writing many hacker programs, such as "telnet", which is used by hackers to connect to machines on the internet without using a telephone.
Your son may try to install "lunix" on your hard drive. If he is careful, you may not notice its presence, however, lunix is a capricious beast, and if handled incorrectly, your son may damage your computer, and even break it completely by deleting Windows, at which point you will have to have your computer repaired by a professional.
If you see the word "LILO" during your windows startup (just after you turn the machine on), your son has installed lunix. In order to get rid of it, you will have to send your computer back to the manufacturer, and have them fit a new hard drive. Lunix is extremely dangerous software, and cannot be removed without destroying part of your hard disk surface.

You are kidding arent you ?
Are you saying that this linux can run on a computer without windows underneath it, at all ? As in, without a boot disk, without any drivers, and without any services ?

That sounds preposterous to me.

If it were true (and I doubt it), then companies would be selling computers without a windows. This clearly is not happening, so there must be some error in your calculations. I hope you realise that windows is more than just Office ? Its a whole system that runs the computer from start to finish, and that is a very difficult thing to acheive. A lot of people dont realise this.

Microsoft just spent $9 billion and many years to create Vista, so it does not sound reasonable that some new alternative could just snap into existence overnight like that. It would take billions of dollars and a massive effort to achieve. IBM tried, and spent a huge amount of money developing OS/2 but could never keep up with Windows. Apple tried to create their own system for years, but finally gave up recently and moved to Intel and Microsoft.

Its just not possible that a freeware like the Linux could be extended to the point where it runs the entire computer fron start to finish, without using some of the more critical parts of windows. Not possible.

I think you need to re-examine your assumptions.

Ubuntu is great, and secure. But I'm on XP pro atm, for the following reasons:
1) programming. Everyone expects programs to be in windows. Also php works better on windows, theres no endless .conf files to edit
2) games. Everyone plays games
3) its just a little bit faster with gui than ubuntu. windows open up instantly.
However i do duel boot. ubuntu is great for music and ipod things. My friend put ubuntu on his parents computer, and because they are noobs they love it. no virus scanners or firewalls to fork out for.

That was EXPERT PROGRAMMER quality!
I am the 1/0 of my GET.
LISP is my body, and SICP is my blood.
I have created over 999 HUGE programs that you couldn't even comprehend.
Unaware of Python.
Nor aware of Ruby on rails.
Withstood the forced indentation of the code to create many touring-complete programs.
Waiting for an EXPERT PROGRAMMER's arrival.
I have no regrets, this was the only path.
My whole life was /prog/.

Please, stop impersonating me. Although it is flattering to have ``impersonators'', in fact, it is a very bad idea. I am pleased to talk with you all about matters of science. But please, get rid of the `cult of personality' way of thinking. It is unscientific and ultimately destructive.

It's quite possibly one of the saddest forms of abuse. Not physical, not emotional, but chemical. Yes, I'm talking about people whose mothers abused them with drugs and alcohol when they were small or even unborn children.
Did your mother switch from cheap beer to hard liquor when she found out she was pregnant with you? When you were deeply disturbed by the ending of Return of the Jedi when you were 3 years old, did she let you hit her joint and think it was funny when you choked on the weed smoke? Did your mother, when you were 4 years old, let you snort some lines off her "magic mirror" after you caught her doing the same, and get mad when you became hyper for some reason shortly thereafter?
If so, you should visit http://dis.4chan.org/prog/ Here you can share your stories of your strung-out mother and her attempts to poison you with her narcotics. It's not funny, and it's not cute. It's abuse. And it hurts.

This may sound odd, but I think my dog is Gerald Jay Sussman.  It all started when I came home from work one day to find my computer with Emacs running with lisp.  Odd because I turn my computer off when I leave for work.  The next I came home, my computer was off, but my dog was on my couch reading SICP.  I swear, he was lying there with the book open. I don't even own a copy.  I took it from him and he tried to bite me.  A few days later, I got a letter in my mail sent to Gerald Jay Sussman.  Some university wanting him to teach a class on lisp.  Another strange thing, is that when he barks, it almost sounds like he's yelling 'cudder' for some odd reason.  He also somehow burned a CD with 'We conjure the spirits of the computer with our spells' song.  When ever I have to take him in the car he has to play it.  Can someone help me?

C is better than C++ because it's SIMPLE.

Analogous arguments that may be more or less true than the above statement:
Python is better than Perl because it's SIMPLER.
Scheme is better than Lisp because it's SIMPLER.
Programs with fewer lines of code than larger programs that do the same thing have less security holes because they're SIMPLER.

You can read the C specification in an hour and understand everything about the language. Sure, it doesn't support every paradigm of programming out there (neither does C++!), but the result is that the idioms are quickly recognizable by other programmers.

C is much easier for static code analysis tools like lint to work with.

More people know C than C++.

C++ has plenty of nice ideas shoehorned onto C (the best of which were added back to C to make C99), but I'll stick with the C's workhorse rather than C++'s sprawling "elegant" object/template/rtti/abstract container classes (all that and you still don't get closures! oops!)

Dear C/C++ asshole who stole my assembly language:

I hope you die. You had to stand there while I learned my mnemonics and built my own data abstractions by hand because I'd bought good hardware---even cheap development tools are good when you buy fresh spices to go with it. I"m sure you think that you're somehow entitled to steal anything you can find because somehow you've been wronged. But consider this: this is who I am. You have just deprived me of one of my two methods of creating ultra-efficient programs, and my only method of writing a first-stage bootloader. I can feel the blackness sweeping in on me, a depression that a year of war somehow doesn't equal. In war people want to kill you. Evdiently your fellow citizens just want to screw you. I wonder if I were a young guy with muscles, a high-and-tight haircut, and the obvious look of a veteran if you'd have stolen their language.

I hope you die. I have no way of optimizing my code now, or of hacking my programs. That's what you did to me. That language represented 1/7th of life reading asm manuals and was a necessity. I had it exactly one month. You'll probably pop linker and compiler and use it to boast to all your shitty friends about how fast your program is. I paid for that language, and I hope karma tears you to shreds.

If anybody offers sympathy, I will scream. I want revenge. I want trial by combat. Oh, and by the way, Cub Foods? Tahnks for being so not helpful. There are assholes who steal, and then there are assholes who just shouldn't work with the public. Thanks bunches. I'll take it to corporate if I have to. I hate you.

Hi, Do you like lisp? When I first stumbled into Lisp advocacy on various corners of the web I was already an EXPERT PROGRAMMER. At that point I had grokked what seemed at the time a wide range of programming languages. I was proud to have under my belt (Java, C, C++, C#, C-, FORTRAN, BBCODE, etc.) I was under impression that I knew EVERYTHING there is to know about programming languages, I had written HUGE PROGRAMS you couldn't even COMPREHEND at age 12. I couldn't have possibly been more wrong. My initial attempt to learn Lisp came to a crashing halt as soon as I saw some sample code. I suppose the same thought ran through my mind that ran through thousands of other minds who were ever in my shoes: "OMG WTF LOOKS SHIT WTF IS UP WITH THAT ())()))))(((() FUCK!!!!11111" I couldn't be bothered to learn a language if its creators couldn't be bothered to give it a BBCode like syntax. After all, I was almost blinded by the infamous suave space toad Lisp! For many months the Lisp advocates pressed on. I was baffled. Many extremely intelligent people I knew and had much respect for were praising Lisp with almost religious dedication. There had to be something there, something I couldn't afford not to get my hands on! Eventually my thirst for knowledge won me over. I took the plunge, bit the bullet, got my hands dirty, and began months of mind blending exercises. It was a journey on an endless lake of frustration, I am stupid fuck. I turned my mind inside out, rinsed it, and put it back in place. I went through seven rings of hell and came back. And then I got it. I KNOW LISP. I AM SO SMART. I AM SO EXPERT, NOW I KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT PROGRAMMMING, I DONT HAVE TO LEARN ANY OTHER LANGUAGE EVER.

I am the creator of the `forced indentation' meme, and it's supposed to go:
``One word, the forced indentation of code. Thread over.''
Lookup the original `Bad things about Python' thread if you don't believe.

Such a failure of epic proportions.

PHP is my bread and butter and I wouldn't trade it for anything except maybe that crazy perl/PHP mix one guy made, I forget what its called but it looks fantastic in the way that, when you look at a mountain of dead babies you think "hells yes!" PHP also just makes a little more sense when I see the source code, more so than most other languages. Whereas I have to always have my Perl book on hand, PHP is all stored up here *points to head*, oh and here too *points to Firefox PHP Manual quick search*

Keep reordering those instructions, one pipeline is busy!!!

After reading SICP, you will achieve Satori. Let's compare how you think before and after with a simple example problem: factorial of 10.

Before SICP: OMG lots of expensive instructions. Let's write an iterative version which is faster. We need 32 bit integers. Consider paralel multiplication using SIMD? Let's set the counter from 10 so upon decreasing we have the NZ flag set and we save a comparison! Lol this one is going to rock. 30 minutes later, you obtain the result.

After SICP: Factorial of 10: folding/reducing * for 2..10. It is equal to x.

Implementation is not important. You don't need to implement it. You are perfectly satisfied with the procedure running in your mind and obtaining a result which you will call x and operate with it as necessary. You have trascended the mortal concrete world and can visualize every part of the process in your mind in a fraction of a second. In fact, you already visualized it before you were asked the question. You already visualized every possible process. You sit, relax and meditate on the process which created the Universe.

Evolution of a Satori programmer:

-Programmer enters college.
-Programmer reads SICP.
-Programmer misses the main point of SICP: that your code be optimized at all levels, high AND low.
-College figures that any retard can figure out how to optimize high-level code and teaches the Programmer skills that aren't immediately obvious to most of their students.
-Programmer graduates, gets a job.
-Programmer gets his first assignment: writing a sort method.
-Applying what he learned in college without even stopping to think and plan, writes a selection sort in assembly.
-Programmer is fired.
-Programmer finally catches on and realizes that high-level optimization is important, and remembers the last time he heard about it in college was in Programming 101 with SICP because the college assumed their students would remember that lesson throughout college.
-Programmer re-reads SICP.
-Programmer finally relearns that lesson.
-Programmer views low-level optimization as a waste of time.
-Programmer lands crappy job after showing off his quicksort written in scheme.
-Programmer learns to resent programming because he sucks at it and spends his days crying at home at how his life turned out.
-Friends find out. Programmer tells friends he meditates to cover up the fact that he's crying. Just kidding, the Satori programmer has no friends.

Evolution of a non-Satori programmer:
-Programmer enters college.
-Programmer takes Programming 101 and reads SICP.
-Programmer learns and remembers the concept of high-level optimization.
-Programmer goes on to learn low-level optimization and master both skills.
-Programmer lands a job showing off his quicksort written in assembly.
-Programmer maintains successful career, starts a family, lives comfortably, and programs games for fun in his free time.

SICP is Alpha and Omega
The beginning and the end
The first and the last.

Lol, in your dreams.

Evolution of a Satori programmer:
- Programmer reads K&R and SICP
- Programmer completely misunderstands SICP
- Programmer thinks Scheme sucks, C rocks
- Programmer learns assembly
- Programmer writes OMG OPTIMIZED code in C with inline assembly
- Programmer gets old, needs a house and a life
- Programmer gets a job
- Employer, as stupid as he may be, realizes programmer is more expensive than hardware, and orders him to stop the OMG OPTIMIZED nonsense
- Programmer discovers abstraction
- Programmer gets lazy, a good quality of a programmer
- Programmer now works in XYZ, and thinks C is a pain in the ass
- Programmer reads about SICP in world4ch
- Programmer re-reads SICP
- Programmer finally understands SICP, receives enlightenment
- Programmer no longer needs to program, but he does for the job, or to get something done in many awesome ways he never believed possible, with 1/5 the code, in 1/10 the time, performing even better than his amateur OMG OPTIMIZED C/asm hacks did most of the times due to superior algorithms and spiritual
- Programmer is now Satori programmer

Just FYI, a Satori Programmer would not even require to write code most of the time, because he would be an Virtuoso programmer. A true expert, usually hired as consultants by businesses. His job?

Instruct and plan software design and implementation details, leave the coding to the lowly paid script monkeys and occasionally write a few routines if the result is not satisfactory.

Yes, these guys are highly paid.

I am a C programmer, albeit I'm currently trying to learn Java, not the language itself mind you but the XBOX HUEG library. Java's libraries were meant to simplify programming, now I'm going around hunting down various Objects and their methods just like programming in raw Win32.

I hate forced OOP, then again I'm only an amature programmer, maybe one day I'll see that Java is worth the time. A friend of mind recently completed a project for a company in Java, so that may be the future.

SCALABLE ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS, his file tree was massive.

1.    I program, sometimes fanatically, writing whole Enterprise Solutions in one day, yet no one must find out.
2.    I shamelessly rape all forms of media in order to obtain information on the latest and greatest programming languages, taking care to keep a bushel of disposable e-mail addresses at hand in case a membership is required to view certain sites.
3.    No, I don’t want to read your blog.
4.    I may be a jock, nerd (but unlikely if still in closet), cheerleader, 30-year-old-pervert (i.e. Dad), or the quiet foreign kid at the back of the class who doesn’t seem to understand the language but still manages to surpass you in all endeavors. You’ll never know.
5.    My programming schedule is similar to the Christ-in-dessert diet, in the sense that temptation is gallantly denied over long periods of time; however, likenesses cease sporadically when I will lapse in to a programming binge similar to the collapse of a desperately obese person’s diet.
6.    In school, I pay no attention to the various programming memes or clubs as the case may be, and secretly fear their fanatic members, seeing them as appalling premonitions of a bleak future. (I must stress now that I have no desire to become a constant bubbly tribute to hacker culture, sporting pants with indecent amounts of holes and constantly dropping various programming jokes that have been picked from the Internet: i.e. ``my other car is a cdr''…etc.)
7.    I understand and wield a powerful editor (Vim), in a similar way to a +12 mage wielding a wand of protection.
8.    I wish to be The Flying Sussman and slightly older, only so that my hobby will feel more natural.
9.    I don’t download, only share.
10.    My biggest fear is discovery of my ignominious secret and widespread distribution of it to all my friends and peers by means of particularly descriptive and colourful pamphlets.

I don’t want to know you, do not seek me out. Though tempting, clues to my secret identity have not been laced throughout the preceding literature.
