After playing Wanko, I really want a pet now. I was thinking about a cat, because cats are smart like Kuu...but I also want a big tough dog like Kotarou so she can protect me and love me. Which should I go for?

Go for a cat if you are pretty lazy. Cats pretty much take care of themselves. If you forget to feed it it'll go out and look for food. The bad thing about cats is that most of them will only be playful if they are kittens or if they are hungry and want attention. Other than that cats just sleep alot.

My family has a dog and I hate it. It barks. A LOT. It will bark at you for no reason, it will wake you up at any hour of the night, it destroys everything, it's always drooling, it smells like shit, it throws up all over the place, it's always trying to run away, it jumps on people, it follows you everywhere when you're carrying food, and I hate it.

One word of warning about cats, don't feed them good food alot. They'll get used to it and refuse to eat anything it thinks is inferior. My dad went on a fishing trip and brought back home a shitton of fish. We gave alot of it to the cat to help get rid of all of it. After we finished off the fish, our cat refused to eat cat food and starved herself for 3 days. When she finally decided cat food was good enough she ate half of the bowl and flipped the rest over.

My cat did that when I let it outside to catch gophers destroying our lawn. It caught like 4 gophers and ate them, and for a week my cat was bitchy whenever it didn't have fresh meat. I relented and went to the petstore and bought some mice to feed to my cat. But then afterwards I just stuck to feeding it cat food and my cat got used to it and stopped bitching.

My cat hits and bites me whenever I forget to feed it or if I come home late. I don't know if she is mad that I didn't spend time with her or if she was just mad I didn't feed her on time. But either way it's adorable the way she jumps on my lap and bites my hand or swats at me and meows and leads me to the catfood.

Depends on the type of house you live in, and where.

If you live in an apartment or small place, a cat would be much better. If you got the space and time to train, a dog. Also, you'll have to consider your neighbors. If your area is generally chaotic anyway, go ahead and get something loud, otherwise you'll have to take care of something that's usually quiet.
