I kinda like her as a succubus, but a really, really bad one. Kinda shy, little to no experience with men, only a vague, second-hand knowledge of how to please them, not much confidence in her looks and skill, can't act all come-hither and seductive at all...that sort of thing.

Also Septette, Shanghai Teahouse, and Tomboy in Love.

EoSD is where things "start" and the SDM get the most shine in canon works next to Eientei. Also also, loli BBAs and maids are really popular with wotas. Also x3, Koa is needed to pair the spares in the SDM, character wise. You have the Scarlet Sisters, MeiSaku, Team SDM and MeiFlan. Fans already reach really hard for MeiFlan, and RemiPatch isn't a thing even though they're canon besties, since that would fuck up the pairing balance.

Enter Koa. They pair her with Patchy and she gets a character that compliments Patchy. She's already the mid boss for Patchy's stage, so fuck it.

This is also why Dai and Momiji got shine as random sprites; they're midbosses for popular characters that need a spare to pair. The corollary is Letty and Hotate not taking except for porn because their niche is taken. Ditto Tojiko, even though she had the yatteyanyo meme Futo was fleshed out and got her own meme/was more moe.

The fairies are earnest and mischievous though, and it's a constant that fairy maids suck at their jobs. ZUN Koa and Fandom Koa don't conflict much at all, unless you go with edgy Koa or lewd Koa.
