I listened regularly to Kaleido Star's (2003) "internet radio" (2004-2006) with Hirohashi Ryo and Oohara Sayaka, but somehow stalled at around episode 90 more than a year ago and still haven't finished it yet.
I really love Hirohashi, she's been IRL Yamada even before landing that role. While the chances of her landing any big new roles in anime or main personalities in radio are really grim, there's at least three long-running radios of hers I haven't gone through yet (one with Koyama Rikiya, one with Mizuhashi Kaori, one with Minagawa Junko).

I like several seiyuu, but I have nothing to contribute to discussion of most of them because my Japanese isn't very good and I haven't actually watched most of their filmography / listened to most of their radio shows / ever actually read through their blog. The first problem could be fixed if I just watched more anime, but other than that I'm just grinding through stuff slowly, and even more slowly because it's kind of hard to get through 50+ episodes of stuff.

Since I'm not fanatic enough to actually track down most seiyuu I like and read what they have to say (which is a really fucking low bar, turns out I'm lazy as shit) I could fill in the gap by reading any number of Western-based seiyuu blogs that would translate material and feed it to me, but my misguided elitism doesn't allow me to do that even though it would probably be a better use of my time, given that I read English about 10x the speed as I read Japanese. Essentially, I really have nothing useful to say about most of them.

Like, things I could say that I haven't said before:

- Tsuda Minami's voices some of my favorite characters and I enjoyed some of the series-based radio programs she was in but found it hard to like 「っだー！！」 because it really feels like she (and her characters) are really only interesting when they have someone else to bounce off.
- Ookubo Rumi has a really bright personality. She's always making programs she's in more spirited, and she's got something to her voice that allows it to sound innocent and also, well, less-innocent at the same time. I think part of it comes from her own unfazeable personality; when they announced Yuru Yuri San Hai! on stage everyone cried except her.
- I don't really like the tsundere archetype and by extension a lot of Kugimiya's characters, but even with that I think her voice is to die for. I like a lot of Iori's music more than I ever liked Iori (and same goes with some of her character songs). Also, it shouldn't matter to work in any way, and she's not even that old, but the years are really getting to her.

None of this is actually useful or interesting to anyone who isn't me.

Most importantly, though, most seiyuu discussion will inevitably be about anime and people are hesitant to talk about anime in /jp/. The end.

I wondered back then how bad the switch to 30-minute Anigera would be and now that it has been few months, I think it was terrible. One-man shows like HoshiHina didn't really suffer, but Sugita + Kajita + guest + 1-3 uzoumuzou is too much since flow is constantly disrupted by the spacing of regular corners.

It's even better when she's 2 days older than me so it turned into a life crisis moment. The uncertainty softened things in a way but it really made me think about something definitely bad happening.

Like I got into seiyuu through Nana and Ai Kakuma was the first new seiyuu that I latched on to so this Inori Minase thing lately as well has made for pretty shit times in seiyuu fandom for me. The Melody Flag this week that marked both the first show recorded since all that crap started, the anniversary of her music debut, and her birthday was pretty wonderful though. It's usually felt like a radio show that toes the marketing line pretty tight so a more personal episode like that really stands out.

You're free to follow my advice or not, but I strongly recommend you to not do a phrase by phrase translation and just do a summary.
Maybe you can do phrase by phrase for a particularly interesting or funny moment so readers can experience it as if they're listening and understanding themselves.
People who are dedicated/crazy/fanatic/stupid enough to care about a full translation can either understand moon themselves or will be too dedicated/crazy/fanatic/stupid to trust someone else's translation in the first place and will try to understand it themselves.
And then people will just skim through your translation and not read everything.

I probably at some point did see that she was in the show, but I really would not have expected Rie Takahashi playing this character. Being I saw and heard a bunch of her when she was a literal who on Anirabu, Nippon Rodoku Academy, and the earlier Ange Vierge nico lives I'm still caught off guard that she's become this major mainstream seiyuu doing fairly serious roles. She didn't tend to do acting focused stuff and I always felt like Reina Ueda was more talented back then, although I guess being a fucking idiot isn't helpful for career advancement.

What were some of your favourite performances of the last year?
Ishida Akira, Yamadera Koichi, Hayashibara Megumi and Tomokazu Seki were all fantastic in Showa Rakugo Shinjuu last year, personally my favourite show and VA performance of the year.
Then I have to say Kobayashi Yuusuke did a fantastic job in the first half of Re:Zero.
Kayano Ai is my favourite female VA and I liked all her roles last year, especially in Amanchu.
Nakamura Yuuichi did some great roles last year, too.
But in terms of new talent, I particularly enjoyed Naganawa Maria last year, and she's nice in Kobayashi-san chi no Dragon too.
And I feel like I'm just rambling but I also want to say how much I enjoyed some of the voice acting in Euphonium, the voices felt more "realistic" than anime voices usually do, especially Kurosawa Tomoyo and Anzai Chika.
And speaking of Anzai, she ( along with Seki and Ishida) is my favourite VA this season because of the great job she's doing in Kuzu no Honkai, her acting and her voice in it is really good.

IMO HoshiHina is the only show where she isn't like that, which is kinda obvious since it's a solo show. Asumi's month as assistant on Yonayona Night last year was definitely a display of her full gear, not to mention past things like Amagami and Busou Shinki's radios.
That being said, it's about as much of an act as the role of any radio host; having a unique personality makes you stand out, which was definitely something she had to worry about before getting her break with Hidamari and becoming on of the biggest stars of 10's. There's actually some ancient footage with Asumi as a guest on Takahashi Mikako's show with Kuro-chan (a 3DPD comedian) and she went so full retard that Mikako said on a recent Payo that she thought she could never get along with her.
