Back when pworld was a thing and it had a public forum it was very easy to get on sows. You can ask for a pcbid and easily ask to get on sows so you can get the data.

There was links to the irc everywhere and literally people you could pm who would be happy to invite you.

BSB SPH is easy as fuck. You just have to be able to scratch quickly and know the rhythm of the song. Watch Out puts much more stress on your non-scratching hand with arcane patterns.

Like I can't even Easy clear Watch out and I have a normal clear on BSB. It's the only 10 I can clear at this point.

Actually early on way before PWorld/PSun were a thing (or even before /jp/ existed for that matter), getting in was just way harder. The community was more mature and way more careful as to who they would invite. Nearly no one was getting banned due to shit ratio and forums were decent.

Random makes 9/10 charts much harder and 1/10 much easier. But more than anything it is a training tool used to familiarize ones self with unusual patterns you might not find on your current play level.

Your timing also affects how fast the hard gauge regenerates. If you're used to AC but not to CS, your timing being off could affect that.

Search on bandcamp sites for random Bemani artists until you find a really obscure compilation that they contributed to that isn't on sows yet. Buy it for like $10, download it in 3 separate qualities because bandcamp lets you do that, then upload all of those files to sows.

That said as someone who has been working on my 9 HC lamp. It's a pretty hard 9. Calling it a 10 is very wrong and I agree with the other guy on that but it's definitely a hard 9 (which I find surprising since most modern songs tend to be under-rated.)

I'd rate it a 9.6-7 personally. It's not as hard as Ristaccia, LAB, bridal festival, Era, Night flight to Tokyo, or even GOLDEN CROSS which is my hallmark definition of a fair hard 9 (and my favorite 9).

I'd reserve, "definitely a 10 for clearing" for stuff like breathless, and esrev:eR and Watch Out!!

being a member of sows is unrelated to PCBID. I got my PCBID before I got on sows. It's harder now because of >>16103852 and it's not that much harder, there are threads for it and you can ask on IRC. Got my friend a PCBID when I had like 6 posts (most of which is asking for dj dao to help me).

I have been using like +2.2 offset for some time and with that I manage to keep my slows and fasts ratio pretty even, but I wonder if I'm just fucking myself by fiddling with the offset. The lower latency your system has, the more positive of an offset you will likely end up using. That said, you probably don't have a 1ms delay monitor (pixel response time is not input latency). Unless you have a high speed camera to get an objective measurement of the latency of your system, it'll be hard to choose an offset unless you're already really good. In the end, you might prefer playing early anyway, so whatever.

This is a sign that you're probably fucking yourself, though you wouldn't be the first person that has adjusted to playing horrifyingly early (if you use a positive offset on AC at all, you're playing early, since 0.0 is already early).

Forgot to mention firmware is updated. I got the + to work, I think I forgot to run as admin when I tried earlier.

The problem with the TT is only in the menu it seems. It scrolls super fast randomly. When I try to go down the list it suddenly goes up and really fast. Looking at the wheel in bemanitools it seems scroll perfectly fine. The FP7 comes up as a ps3 controller in bemanitools right?

Also my fps is at 59.xxxx instead of 60.xxxx suddenly today (haven't played in a week).

Deal with it because it doesn't really affect anything and it is not that big of a deal in terms of storage. Plus you'll most likely get those files anyways if you use omnimix.

If you're that tenacious about your file being clean you can look up what is removed and check the folder for the BGA and delete it.

I wonder if it's possible to use actual eamuse with data in Japan.

I'm not sure how the whole PCBID thing works with official eamuse, but I imagine you'd actually have to pay Konami a monthly fee like an arcade owner would.

Only questions would be how prohibitively expensive it'd be to do, and if Konami would need some form of proof you own an actual arcade.

Would be cool to see your scores at home transfer to scores at an arcade.

It's possible if you own a legit arcade with legit e-amuse and for some stupid reason load up pirated data. But since you have legit e-amuse you get data from konmai anyway, so it's pointless.

Scores transferring from psun to official e-amuse is impossible becuase those scores are server-sided.
