Headcanons, dude. The character I love exists in a space apart from the story she's originally from. She's as much my own creation as she is a creation of the work's original author. I mean, how does doujinshi work? A character doesn't "belong" to the original author. She takes on a life of her own when a work is released.

Monogatari doesn't qualify as a harem, because only two girls were even legitimate love interests in the eyes of Araragi, and he pursues both of them.

From Kizu to Bake, Araragi has a tenuous, highly unequal relationship with Hanekawa, which really only comes into existence because Hanekawa really wants to realize a specific relationship and naively (yet intelligently) baits and hooks Araragi into it

From Bake onwards, Araragi and Senjougahara establish a more complementary (but still highly unbalanced) relationship, which pursues until the current end of the animated series

For the other girls, they are all perverts, but there is no indication of harem. They may not be deep or platonic, but it is not that of potential lovers:

After the events of Rainy Devil, they are on friendly, albeit one-upmanship terms. Since both of them are horndog teenagers, many of the pranks between one another involve just that. Later on, Araragi becomes more of a mentor than anything else.

They are just his sisters, and their sexual playfulness is just them and Araragi being horndogs. He doesn't give any indication that he wants to pursue them romantically, nor vice versa.

The common theme is that although the room is ripe with the stench of bitches, the only conflict as lovers which carries any weight on Araragi's side is Hanekawa and Senjougahara.

tl;dr Monogatari is no masterpiece, but it shoots for something entirely different than To Love Ru or Monster Musume, and I wouldn't call it a harem rather than just perverted in almost all regards
