Looking at my folders these are some nice circles that make nice Jazz/Lounge. Some of them make other kind of music and only had a couple Jazz/lounge albums. Please forgive if you cannot find them easily, I trust whatever romanization of the circle's name the uploader used.

Aquaelie
Sonic Hybrid Orchestra
=NeutraL= has one or two electro/rock albums.
Avenue Room; The one album i have from them is metal-ish.
El Dorado
ロリコンの地位向上
Iron Attack!
Pizuya's Cell; If i remember correctly they also have rock/metal albums.

I haven't found much rock/metal touhou music that I enjoy so this list is a tad short. For me Iron Attack is very hit or miss from album to album.

And that sweet balance between Tama's voice and the rest of the onsen just works so well. Uten kekko is a little grating sometimes but not all that bad. Definitely a group I did not expect to enjoy so much.

All in all I look forward to each of their albums, and having been following their new releases chronologically you hear a lot of really fun remixes of old songs. They seem to like doing that. They also really like Suika's theme.

That reminds me, Assortment of Sense seems to be a very underappreciated album as well, and it pains me because there's quite a superb mixture of songs in it. I think it's fair to say that Shibayan was probably experimenting with their style at that time, which is why it might not have been liked as much as, say, their newer stuff.

Aside from a few tracks, it's just okay.

Where should I start looking if I'm looking for the more aggressive rhythms in Cherry Blossom Underground by ziki_7? I've been looking at his other stuff and it's alright but none of it tickles me like this song does.

https://www.melonbooks.co.jp/feature/detail.php?feature_id=55

They're pretty normal. If you've went to any mini concerts before, it's like that. Except most of the people can speak your language (my experience at least).

Other than that, I've went into clubs like MOGRA or whatever circle is in Shibuya with guests from doujin circles. Not really what I'd call a concert since it's more of a club though.

I don't remember the reasoning (if he ever posted it), but unfortunately it seems like he stopped making music altogether. While your description is quite vague and strange, I think ambient music is what you're looking for. It is, quoting Wikipedia, a genre of music that puts an emphasis on tone and atmosphere over traditional musical structure or rhythm. It meshes well with pretty much every single music genre so you may have to look around a little.

That's an easier question to answer if you're looking for music in general rather than Touhou in particular. If it's just Touhou, I wouldn't know where to start either. If it's just music in general I could give suggestions all day and you'd eventually find something you liked.

Going off this song >>16105416 the guitar and bass and multi-movement structure of the song
scream "prog metal influence." The song 'Moonlight' on the other hand has an introduction that sounds like EDM and the song progresses to "basically synth pop". Y'know, listening to some English vocals of FELT, I usually end up wishing it was sung by someone who was more fluent with English. I don't particularly dislike Engrish lyrics, but some of those lyrics on FELT's vocals are rather well written. I was listening to a remix of Lost in the Abyss by MZC (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=njwj7NRBH7o)) and it's quite a good example of it. Feels bad, man.
Though, I'd like to note that I like MZC's to the original track. The lyrics and the instruments used really don't mesh together at all. In contrast, in the MZC's they flow together very well, and create a very nice mood. I personally like the robotic voices as I feel they also flow quite well.

It was pretty easy to get back into it again with some simple stuff (U.N. Owen was her, faith is for the transient people) which can be adapted pretty well to violin.

Currently trying to adapt Necrofantasia which was probably not my best idea just getting back into things, but https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=769eFvAxPuE just sounds so nice. Golden City Factory is sick. don't remember what's on the other two but track #2 on Ms. Jiang Shi is disturbingly good.

SIN is my favorite Primary album (tracks #2 and #3 are divine), didn't think much of -1 though. yuiko is great in most cases (pop/rock). neither of those are 2hu however.

can't go wrong with REDALiCE. Over Drive isn't the best AE album but it's solid vocal hardcore/edm.
same with SOUND HOLIC, all of their albums (that aren't purely 709 or however many sec that guy is) are very good. various electronic genres.

Arte Refact and SYNC.ART'S are pop/rock. both of those albums are quite good.
38BEETS is similar but more trance-y, don't think i've heard that album but i like most of their stuff.
Hachimitsu Lemon (はちみつれもん) same as above.

LV.4 does some touhou stuff but Girl's Doll Resurrection is just miku iirc. he does good trance/psytrance and i don't remember anything bad about that album.

MINAMOTRANCE also not 2hu, but that album is decent. mostly UK hardcore/electro ish.

don't know about the rest but you seem to have a good selection. hope that helps. make sure you delete the A-One album though because eurobeat is trash unless Nana Takahashi's voice is involved.

There's a western doujin guy called syrupf and most of his stuff was on soundcloud and bandcamp but he recently nuked his one bandcamp page that had original not remixed music, and also culled his soundcloud of a lot of original neat stuff. There's one thing in particular that I really want back and I thought I'd ask around here and maybe /r/ in time, before I get my confidence together and just bug the man about it on twitter. On http://mintsyrup.bandcamp.com/ there's a track called rabbint that got replaced by a new version but the old was way more rad and now I can't find it anywhere. I didn't download it because it wasn't free until recently or get it through a downloader or some other source because I just couldn't be bothered until now.

I was just wondering if perhaps someone around here has that particular track downloaded or has the physical disc so that they could upload it somewhere

They're both songs which benefit from a very strong leading voice, so adapting them to single instruments works quite well. They don't rely on complex chords and their rythms are still possible for string instruments (although getting the faster parts from U.N. Well, there aren't any special ways to find out the artists. Search by picture, check who was credited for the album cover, all that jazz.
Danbooru also has a pool for music art, but it's better to use it to browse for art rather than to find art. I guess that's par for the course for danbooru, though.

I've become really interested in hoarding touhou music recently. I already have the Lossless Collection v18 on an external harddrive, but since that hasn't been updated since last year I would want to find some newer remixes and circles to collect via torrents.

There really isn't any "bulk" downloads for recent events, the DS spreadsheets are probably the easiest source, but they're still just individual downloads.
