I honestly cant choose, they are my favourite characters in the series, both aren't truly appreciated and deserve a lot more love. Neither is trusted and I find that sad.

It's a shame they dont get along. But I'm afraid to see ZUN have them meet in the event things worsen. E.g Ayafags finding out Aya and Momiji hate eachother.

Eirin, strictly because I've dreamed several times of her using me for unethical perverted medical experiments, even though it's pretty out of character.

In fact, Eientei is the best faction because of just that. No ulterior motives, no youkai beyond Tewi who is almost strictly benevolent, the entire household has a good understanding of humanity and won't dick around with people needlessly (yes, even Tewi).

Reisen is a youkai, and it's implied Junko may join Eientei given the lolk ending. Junko isnt bad, but she has anger issues and is probably triggered easy. Wasnt her husband one of those cunts who became a sun and fucked with humans, only to get shot down by Chang'e's husband? I cant say I like or feel bad about him.

Not really. Yukari was only trying to teach aliens about fear but in the end Eirin only felt a bit uncomfortable when she lost the war.

so I am pretty sure the don't really hate each other, and I like to think that they even meet sometimes to "eat" a random shota.

It's been shown more than once that Eirin (like Yukari) is playing 4D chess. She is clearly not giving everyone the full story and Reisen as the player analogue doesn't know what she is up to.

Tewi is far from benevolent, she is a schemer and prankster god. She isn't building an army of youkai rabbits for nothing.

EET is my favorite faction but they are far from saints. No one really is in Gensokyo other than Kogasa and that's just because she's completely ineffectual at trying to be spooky. Reisen is fairly innocent I guess.

Eirin is holding her cards close to her chest, but isnt a bad person.
She became immortal and went through exile just to atone for granting the wish of a selfish princess, she could be spending her time hedonisticly, instead she's healing people for dirt cheap. These arent traits of a bad person.
Lunarians are also ones who look down on humans, meanwhile she went from a high ranking Lunarian founder, to being doctor to humans and even youkai. I'm not an arrogant lunarian, but lets be realistic, the human body is pretty disgusting, especially when it has some sort of problem. Fungal infections, parasites, pus , shit, urine, warts, deformities, foul odors etc. Not glorious is it, even less when you arent getting paid much, and thats before you factor in how Lunarians view humans and youkai.

The idea Eirin is bad is absurd, it goes against her actions. She's like Yukari, mysterious and not trusted, but good at heart. Sure Eirin can be cold, even prepared to murder Reisen, but it's only because she thought she may have no options.

I like Eirin and the rest of them, but I'd love to skin Tewi alive and drown her in salt water more than anything, it's the least she deserves.
