Who the fuck seen or have these things? I went by the only respectable Toys R Us in NYC today (in Queens) to look for some Hot Wheels and when I went by the blind bags section I caught this in the corner of my eye. This was the only blind bag collection that was nearly sold out (one left in the box and someone hid two which I threw back in the box cause fuck them for hiding them for themselves). Since this was one of the few American licensed Miku/Vocaloid products (FUCK that hideous Funco Pop ugly ass SD Miku with the beady eyes; all their shit is hideous) that looked somewhat decent so I decided to pick up one. They're about $7.00 which is quite steep for something to hang on your bag but fuck it.

Kikuos two albums with si_ku were really good and unique.

Hana just had a shrill, screechy fucking voice in the album she released with kikuo. Sure, maybe he was being explorative, but kikuo owes the entirety of his fame to his musical production values, and his vocaloid/instrumental albums.

In the kikuohana album, you could barely hear kikuos music over fucking hanas disgusting voice. For most hardcore fans (not hana fans, KIKUO fans) it was a major shock/disappointmen.

Of course, being Japanese, kikuo's feelings are about as tough as a mayflower on the first day of autumn, so he had to take 6 months to "recuperate".

It's a story of two girls who live in a human experimentation testing facility. It's an "alternate world" in a sense that they're being held captive with no idea of what the outside world is like other than a painting on a wall. There's also double reference to the theme since this takes place in a world where human testing is happening. There's also some good wiggle room for adding harmonies if you were to vocally perform it.

How much effort? Your local sign shop should be able to print off vinyl decals. Plain single color vinyl prints are only a few dollars each, larger laminated color prints vary. I paid $30 for a full color that was 6"x54". You can also get those one way rear window designs pretty cheap

Are there any essential IA albums?

I've been playing IA/VT Colorful for months now and love just about every song, but I don't know where to go to find most of her work, or who's doing the best/most interesting new stuff with her.

I also never realized how great jin was until this game- he's got almost literally a quarter of the songs in the game (~10 of ~40, IIRC), and they're all fantastic.

local shops tend to be overpriced though in my experience, since they don't expect you to know any better going to a local one and skimp on you with off brand indoor rated vinyl while charging premium.

$1k-$2k for a partial wrap (like me) and as high as $4k for a full 100% wrap if you have a shop do all of it (design, prep, install).

I did all the design/vectoring myself as well as the cutting and installation of all the graphics so it only cost me about $600. The only thing I had a shop do was print the color graphics (miku) since you'd need a $20k+ solvent/latex printer and $3k laminator for that. It's a ton of time if you do it yourself but I do it for fun since it's a hobby of mine and I'm a DIY'er.

notes:
-use vector graphics (avoid pixelation from supersizing onto a car) (.svg, .ai, .eps etc. format, not raster .png).
-3M or Oracal premium grade CAST car wrap vinyl with lamination (not intermediate grade calendered unless for hood or relatively flat panel). Cast usually costs twice as much as calendered but cast vinyl conforms to curves and stretches with heat, calendered does not and isn't dimensionally stable so it shrinks to a slightly smaller size over time and will lift like crazy on curves and trim pieces.
-Expect to pay $10-$20 per square foot of cast vinyl; if it's half this, it's probably calendered.
-Prefer if shop uses Roland/Mimaki/HP printers.

What's the verdict on DECO*27's ghost?

>General Thoughts?
I like it, it's a favorite one for sure and sorta takes roots from Conti New and Aimai Elegy. But really fusing that rock and techno pop vibe where even a little hard rock from the guitar and drums slips though the loose cracks of the general style and into flow with that edge against the pop vocals. That harder rock edge is obviously from Naoki Itai's influence which is a dominant theme for the album so it mends well.

Track 6 - 118
Naoki Itai's arrangement with it's heavy rock vibe along with for some reason the choice of violins in the composition really go well on that techno pop-rock DECO*27 is known for. The vocals aren't really all that impressive when you compare to the rhythm and flow to prior songs like Delusion Tax.

Track 9 - Find The Light
Contrary to 118, it's actually hitting more reminiscent to works like in Conti New's Streaming Heart and Delusion Tax while still retaining that focus on a that consistent techno hard rock theme present in GHOST.

It's sorta typical for DECO*27 to slip in tracks that have no correlation or connection to the theme of the album. But these two seem so out of place with their slow pace, tempo, and altogether it just comes off jarringly out of place, even if they were good, which they were really not. Out of place, genre, and tastelessly out of place.

Overall, nifty album that's worth a listen to and a purchase if you really dig DECO*27.

Well I just opened this thread to share my thoughts on the album and you beat me to it anon >>15900384. I'm gonna be rather quick though :

I haven't been able to listen to all of it yet, aside from track 2 everything feels really dull... I liked Conti New much more, it felt more real and carried more emotion than what I've listened so far of Ghost. Might be because kous was involved and he's my favorite artist, but I think it might also just be that I prefer DECO's older work in general.

I'll force myself to finish it though. I skipped through the tracks I couldn't get myself to listen to and noticed he yet again finished the album with some sort of forced slow tracks which reinforces even more my early thoughts on this album : it's empty, devoid of any kind charm.
